I had an extremely disappointing stay at Park Plaza Waterloo and would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. The service was absolutely shocking, with a clear lack of care or professionalism. The rooms were filthy on arrival, and despite calling several times to request cleaning, fresh towels, and basic housekeeping support, there was no answer and no follow-up. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. To make matters worse, the coffee machine in the room didn’t work at all. When we raised these issues, we were repeatedly told that the hotel was “extremely busy.” With that in mind, I made the point that if the hotel cannot cope during peak times, then the room rates should be discounted accordingly. What this effectively communicates to guests is that the hotel cannot handle high-demand periods while still charging full premium prices — which is not acceptable. The staff were very unhelpful and seemed confused and poorly informed. On New Year’s Eve, we specifically asked about watching the fireworks and were given completely contradictory information — one group of staff said the terrace would be open, while another group said it wouldn’t. There was no clear communication or organisation whatsoever. Overall, the experience felt chaotic, poorly managed, and far below expectations. I would much rather pay a little extra for proper service, cleanliness, and a genuinely comfortable, more luxurious stay elsewhere. This is definitely not a place I would return to or recommend

It’s a relatively new hotel with beautiful rooms and not amazing but very urban views. The rooms are modern well organized but not modern enough to have usb charge ports. The hotel can be very busy and I think staff is struggling to keep up at front desk and for room clean. My room has sheets that were let’s say… not that clean. Generally a good price and location balance but could be a much better version of itself

Our stay at the Waterloo Park Plaza Hotel was generally pleasant. The breakfast and dinner served in the restaurant were of very good quality, and the concierge team were consistently friendly and helpful. There were, however, some service-related issues. We were asked to book a swimming pool time, although no such information was provided during the booking process or at check-in. Additionally, in the restaurant we were asked to wait to be seated, but no staff member was available at the time despite unreserved tables being free. The response from staff after we raised our concerns was professional and appreciated. Housekeeping staff were excellent—our room was cleaned daily and maintained to a high standard. The hotel facilities were good overall. Although parking is limited (approximately seven spaces), the option to pay separately for on-site parking was convenient for us, particularly when travelling with children. However, the hotel does not offer a dedicated play area for children. One drawback was the lack of privacy in our third-floor room, as the nearby building was very close and required us to keep the curtains closed throughout our stay. Overall, the hotel offers good facilities, quality food, and attentive staff in many areas, with some opportunities for improvement in communication, service consistency, and room privacy.

Park Plaza Waterloo by Radisson, I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Park Plaza Waterloo by Radisson almost every week during my business trips, and it has quickly become one of my favourite hotels in London. • Location: The hotel is perfectly situated just a few meters from Lambeth North Tube Station, making travel around the city effortless. • Views: Many rooms offer a stunning view of the London Eye, which adds a special touch to each stay. • Service: The staff are consistently welcoming and professional. A special mention goes to Volter from the front office/ Reception, who has always been extremely helpful and attentive, ensuring my stays are smooth and enjoyable. • Overall Experience: The combination of convenience, comfort, and excellent service makes Park Plaza Waterloo a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London, it truly feels like a home away from home.

Staff was very attentive. Kieran and John at the concierge desk were most helpful in arranging tours. Very polite in asking if we were eligible for the senior discount!!!! Maria at breakfast was a friendly face to see each morning. Polite and attentive to our needs. Our television needed to be re-booted several times during the week. It was addressed promptly once we notified the front desk. Overall our stay was a pleasant one.

Clean and nice room, hi-tech system of light. Well located in front of subway station. Available swimming pool, gym and sauna. Kind staff. In general good service. Only point I suggest to improve is breakfast. They served a standard international offer but food is nothing special, it taste and quality can be improved to stay in line with the structure . In addition, lactose free offer is very poor. Not worth 20 pounds. Instead, there's a better restaurant inside which open for dinner.

As a family of 6 members (4 kids+2 adults) we went to London to make a trip of 5 days. This hotel was perfectly adapted to what we wanted, a nice hotel with comfortable places and adapted to children. Kids had a great program of activities for every afternoon (cinema, cooking, DIY, and many more things!). The breakfast is perfect! With a big variety of food. Finally, the people working there are really nice and they help you whenever you need it and for whatever you want to. This hotel is AWESOME!

The hotel is modern. You literally dont have to move to turn on/off the lights, AC and even the curtains! You are able to charge with EU cables as well, which is a huge bonus for me. The staff is extremely kind. Everything is clean. Definitely not the last time, that I will be staying here. Worth all the money.

I took a chance booking this hotel as it was my first visit to London with the family, I was so glad I did as the place was fantastic. A short walk from some of the big attractions, and with a tube station almost directly opposite getting to all the other major tourist spots is very easy. Staff were great and made the trip fun for the kids, the rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Will definitely visit again
