Really nice hotel and great staff, the service from the staff was fantastic. The room I had was nice and big and very comfortable with a good working space. The lobby also had plenty of space to work in and have meetings. Breakfast was also very good.
I stay here regularly for business, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean and apart from the occasional issue with streaming devices to the TV there's never been any issues. Could maybe add some specials to the dinner menu for a bit of variety but that's just being picky........
Good location and room was spacious and well ventilated. Doors seem to slam a lot in the night which can be heard in room quite loudly. Otherwise generally quiet. Restaurant food and staff were great.
Terrible call center and reservation management. Even though they confirmed a sofa bed room for us twice over the phone, when we arrived the hotel had no idea about it and the room was not prepared. They completely left us stranded and wasted our time. Their call center isn’t even based in the UK, and you can’t reach the hotel directly by phone. Once they take your money, you’re left waiting on the line for hours. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. Especially if you are traveling with family or in a group, do not rely on them.
Katie and the events team were fantastic. The communication from start to finish was highly professional. At our event all the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. If you are hosting an event I highly recommend this venue. Clean, tidy and well managed.
Really nice rooms, big roomy bar area, nice modern eating area, with great food both in the evening and for breakfast. Great location for travelling to Crayford the next day. Happy to stay here again. A huge plus was the complimentary drinks in the room, this was outstanding.
We booked a function room for a 100th birthday afternoon tea. The venue was perfect and the staff were wonderful and very welcoming. The food provided was excellent. Careful attention was given to every aspect of the function and the room layout and facilities were great. I would definitely recommend the venue and would book again.
Downstairs lobby area looks fine & looked like it had been decorated/modernised. Some of the staff on reception looked like they couldn’t be bothered to be there. The rooms were just dirty, stained carpets, stank of smoke so we had to leave the windows open 24/7 & dated. One of our group didn’t even have a working shower and the reception didn’t move them to a different room.
Excellent location as we needed to be short drive from the Valley Ground and not too far from Gatwick. The service was fantastic including a lovely meal (recommend the fish and chips) which we chose to get in room as we were shattered and the meals came in 15 minutes. Friendly and extremely efficient staff. Perfect stay.
We had a brilliant stay, in a nice room for two nights. There was exceptional service from the restaurant & bar teams for dinner & breakfast. Particular thank you to Christine who looked after us for Dinner, with a call out to the kitchen team Hakim, Nima & Colin the food was great. Breakfast was very yummy we had brilliant service from Maggie & a special thanks to Simon in the kitchen. All in all great service & location for what we needed.
