Friendly staff. Helpful, the tube station is very good. Room was clean, newly refurbished and modern. Pleasant and easy stay. Highly recommended.
What a dump! Rooms are tiny and stink of poor drainage. The bathroom was filthy, with a blocked sink and crap smeared over the shower curtain and head. No tea or coffee and two filthy cups left. Complained to reception. Foreign girl (could barely speak a word of English), couldn’t care less. Plenty of parking, but beware of locals kicking off and causing trouble at night. Won’t recommend or stay again.
Not the best experience at this travelodge, great location, but horrible room, I've book there twice and I've got the same too with two separate booking, I even said to the staff I came from that room earlier in the day, can I get another room seeing that it's a new booking. Said all the rooms are fully booked, no way all the rooms are booked. But the room I had is the most horrible room, cleanest thing I had was the towels. Bed had ants crawling, the most hottest day the ac wasn't working, just a small fan that can barely cool the room. For a place that's cheap the prices I paid twice wasn't cheap, so I expect if you paying over 80 quid for a night at a hotel, to should have a clean shower and bedding. And even a small fridge with two bottle of water to accommodate your guest.
Really clean room and great location! The tube station is a 1 minute walk! There is ample free parking in front of the property. There's also a Costa coffee right in front and a Lidl about a 20 minute walk. The service was super friendly with Nikki the supervisor there also to help us out when we left an item behind at the hotel. The staff was also present at the counter. Another plus was the fact that this hotel is pet friendly. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are next in London and will recommend the hotel to others :)
Stayed here for a few nights with my husband and sister in law, while we were visiting relatives. Our room was fab nice and big, great disability facilities. The staff were so helpful and informative
Great location for business use. Rooms are modern and clean, and staff (Julie) always helpful and cheery on arrival. Unfortunately no restaurant, but Costa and local Pub within 2 mins walk provide good alternative.
It has free car parking, which is a big saving but on a first come, first served basis. The staff are friendly and pleasant to the customers. As compared to other travelodge their room was descent with no rear and tear. The room was fully updated, and the lightening and fixtures were updated, too. The view was nice of the rooms. They had two lifts, and both were clear and working. More interesting that they have a free mobile number to call for service/assistance. It's closer to A13 and only 20 - 30 minutes away from city London I would like to stay again.
It's a travelodge so it's basic but you know what you signed up for. No breakfast buffets though, the rooms are nice enough round the corner from Dagenham East tube station and easy to uber to the Riverside for a boat or bus/uber to the Elizabeth line.
It's a decent, clean and very accessible location. Some flies in the rooms from air-conditioning but not very disturbing at this moment. I suggest some sanitization. If you buy earlier than 3 weeks will be expensive, but still under Booking and Airbnb. The phonic isolation is not great between rooms. From outside is quiet.
