Great place fpr a golf trip. Rooms are a little dated but for the money you cant complain. Also, the restaurant and bar is fantasic
Lunch with the family. Be aware that table only available for 3 hours. Nice meal with the lamb shank and beef recommended. Very disappointing fruit salad with 90% apples and pears with two raspberries split into six pieces. ( see picture ) lovely mango sorbet though. Won’t have that again if we return.
I went there for an 80th birthday party. Good food and hosting by the staff and enjoyable party.
Top Meadow is a parkland golf course with a fairly rudimentary hotel on site. The rooms are perfectly reasonable, but could not be described as luxurious. However, the rates are very fair, especially when combined with a round or two of golf and dinner/breakfast. The dinner menu is surprising varied and the restaurant service is friendly and efficient. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. The golf course lacks variation and there are some long walks between green and next tee, but overall, its all in good order and a good test. I came as part of a small group, and would be happy to come again.
Bed comfortable but pillows lumpy. En suite too dark to shave. No hairdryer but when phoned reception one was brought to us immediately. Plenty of choice for cooked breakfast but nothing except cereal and supermarket cakes for continental type. Staff all very friendly and polite. We were only there overnight after a function. A pity as with just a little TLC it would be excellent.

Been here several times and each time our menue,which was pre ordered weeks before had run out of what we ordered. Other than that ,staff are very pleasant and service is good.great location and has a golf course.
Lovely place and surroundings. Good food too. However one of the bar staff in the golf club could do with re-visiting Customer Service School. Lost a star as her attitude sucked.

Well appointed pro shop. Ordinary food, ordinary service,ordinary golf and ordinary prices. Expect no frills and you will not be disappointed. Some idiot insists that you spend £10 at the bar if you are using a card. It's basically a municipal golf course with members.
