    Having had a bad experience and left an appropriate review on TripAdvisor, I received an abusive message from the proprietor of this place. Disappointing, as anybody who wanted business would have done what they could to address my concerns - no lock on the bedroom door so belongings could not be secured while I was out, no sign of anyone to serve breakfast, forcing me to search for food when I came down to eat. None of this was inaccurate, but all I got was this: " "I done you a faver even letting you stay in my house for25 pound do you think I need the money I do not take odd nights any more as there are more agro then there worth you fat punt" Can this be publicised to warn people about the kind of man who is running the place?

    We only stayed the 1 night but wished it was for longer, the owner greeted us warmly. The room was lovely, slept well, all was wonderful. It was a lovely break, we will be booking again thats for sure.
