   I visited Boots the Chemist at Bryn, Ashton-in-Makerfield yesterday afternoon. I wanted to return some items for a refund which I had purchased on line. I spoke with a lovely member of staff called Paris. Staff were having difficulty refunding some Advantage points back to my card, when Paris took control of the situation and contacted Customer Services for me. She obtained updated information from Customer Services about my points, addressed the points refund discrepancy, and provided me with a till print-out of my points balance. Paris was efficient, patient and kind, and her Customer Service skills were brilliant. Well done Paris! Your friendly assistance was very much appreciated. Thank you, you are a STAR!

   Tried to ring but nobody would answer. On the one occasion that they did, they put the phone down again before speaking. Not what you would expect from Boots. Curious to see if Boots are monitoring these comments as you would expect some action. Seem that the Boots brand is not what it once was as the shocking customer service looks to run throughout the company.

   Prescription services absolutely awful!! They message you that you can pick up your repeat prescription and when you turn up they shrug their shoulders and tell you that the supplier of certain medications won't deliver until 2 weeks or so. Just a joke!! Nobody picks up the phone when you try calling and complaints just land on deaf ears!!

   1 staff on the till at lunch time , 1 woman checking the dates on chewing gum , and 9 people waiting to be served! Zero customer services!

   Terrible they never answer the phone. I have a prescription which is sent to them electronically and was told they they need 5-7 days to sort a regular prescription, they’d send me a text when it was ready to collect. However after 7 days, last month I waited 9 days, I rang to see if there was a problem they hadn’t even print it off, this is the same EVERY MONTH. You have to ring so that they will print it off, I was even told ‘just give us a quick call’ THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!

   Really slow service. Staff are friendly but if you want to nip in for something, don’t bother. You will wait in a queue for at least 10 minutes. Prescriptions are a joke. They take so long to come through. My partner pays for his prescriptions and had to wait over one whole including weekends to get his medication so end up running out in the last 2 days. They are a small pack of tablets too. Nothing that should take too long to prepare. Something needs to be done really, it’s nit good enough.
