I would like to thank the chemist and the assistants who made up my prescription whilst I waited on Tues 04.11.25 .. They were most helpful and obliging which enabled me from making a return trip.. Thank you so much I really did appreciate it.
This used to be a great pharmacy but since it changed ownership it has gone from same day service for prescriptions, to a 4 or 5 working days before your prescription is available. I believe prescriptions are made up at another site and eventually shipped in. If things don't speed up imminently I am going to find a different pharmacy and I guess a lot of others will to.
Was a great pharmacy, use to walk in , prescription was always ready. Now there's queues every time you go in. Today i had to wait 40 minutes along with others for my tablets that the doctor sent Thursday. Wouldnt be to bad if you was made aware of the wait and to come back. Sadly its not run well now.
Used to be excellent where prescriptions were usually ready on the same day you ordered from your doctor with friendly efficient staff. Now they need 4 working days notice to make up a prescription & when I went in yesterday to collect it (having had a message on Friday to say it was ready), I was told it couldn’t be given to me as there was no pharmacist in at 9.15 on a Monday morning. Got my prescription elsewhere, will not be going here again.
I changed pharmacy because of the poor response time for repeat prescriptions. I take very common medication, under the previous ownership as soon as the gp sent over the prescription it was normally done within thirty minutes, a day at most. I don't understand how there can be more people employed than before but the response time has gone down so terribly.
Tried to get some rare medicine from prescription of Latchford medical centre. Rowlands do not have them in stock. It is okay. However they refused to order it for me. End up I have to take a bus and get it in town centre.
Rang 32 times also I was asked by my doctor to ring the chemist to see if they had my medication and one of the staff remarked that I rang to kick off about my medication What right does the staff have the staff to make that remark ?
This pharmacy never answers its phone. I've had trouble in the past ringing them and today my doctor has advised me to ring them as I need urgent medication, it rang for ages and now they've taken the phone off the hook.
Phone up for repeat prescription was told they were not going to do it anymore that I had to go to my doctor's which I never done before to email the doctors as I'm not disabled enough for then to do it , which thay have been doing since 2017 , This was without any warning and I have never had to email the doctor like this before or they could have just told me this is the last time I can do it and and you have to email next month but no the lady on the phone was taking orders from somebody shouting in the background tell them we're not doing it anymore totally disgusting
Anytime I ever went into this chemist service was good. But when it comes to you phoning to see if your prescription is ready forget about it nearly 2 hours ringing phone rings out, then goes to engaged then back to ringing I totally understand being busy but answering the phone and then hanging up the phone on the customer and it wasn't just once I was hung up on at least 11 to 12 times. If your busy turn the ringer off and clear your shop but multiple hang ups. I work answering phones for a living and I would be fired on the spot if I done that not good for customer services and very ignorant thing to do.
