   The location is very convenient to major transport hub, which is a few minutes walk to King's Cross Station and St Pancras International Station. The place is very old and has a very tight space. I checked in room # 42 and found out that it is very small about 10 by 5 feet. Toilet, which is right next to the bed, is separate from the shower. The toilet door always swings open. You have to think of something to prevent it from opening. I placed a large water bottle in front to hold the door shut. One compliment I can say is that they kept the room generally clean. There is coffee, tea, milk and sugar with one cup and a teaspoon. The teaspoon from day 1 was never changed. It had this sticky grime on it and they just keep on putting it back even though I moved it away from the cup for them to realize to change it, but to no avail, I have the same dirty teaspoon for 4 days. Room 42 is by the street, so you will hear cars and people talking while walking or the sound of their luggage rolling on the sidewalk. I never had a good sleep because of the noise outside and the floor from the room above me are squeeking while someone walks. Best to have ear plugs when its time to sleep. Heating in the room is insufficient, I have to go down to the reception and ask them to increase the temperature every time. The staff are very accomodating and friendly. They will provide you with all the help you need to the best of their ability. Over all it is not a comfortable stay for me.

   I stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were super friendly and helpful, but the room was extremely tiny and not very clean — some corners had even turned green. The floor squeaked every time I moved, and the walls were so thin that we could hear everything from the neighbouring room. Great location and kind staff, but the rooms really need better soundproofing and maintenance

   My husband and I stayed at the hotel in the last week of September and we had a positive experience (overall). The staff were all consistently kind and helpful throughout our time there. The location is absolutely fantastic. We loved the area and found it to be convenient, as it was close to everything we needed, especially the train and underground stations. We stayed in a ground floor room located at the back of the hotel. The room was quite small, which meant we had very limited space, making it difficult to even fully open our bags. But it was ok, after all we didn't spend much time there. And the bathroom was also very small; in particular, the shower enclosure was quite tight, even for someone like me (I'm quite short and skinny). If you are looking for a budget hotel with convenient location, this is a great choice! Just be aware that the room can be small and be prepared for limited personal space.

   Let's be honest, it is a budget hotel. I would rate it 3 stars for the amenities themselves. However, the place is clean and the beds are decent enough for a good night sleep. So for the very cheap price and the great location right next to kings cross station, it really was the best we could've asked for. Check in is very flexible with a 24h counter with friendly staff. If you're looking for a cheap stay at a great location, this is for you.

   The European Hotel is very cheap and works if you need somewhere last-minute or you’re travelling on a tight budget. The location is excellent, right next to King’s Cross Station, which makes it very convenient. That said, the room is extremely basic. Our view was directly into a back alley with pipes, ladders, and fire exits, not exactly relaxing. The beds and furniture are simple, and there isn’t much space. There’s no wardrobe, just a few hangers on hooks in the hallway. Soundproofing is poor, you can hear most things from nearby rooms. On the plus side, the room was clean enough, and for the price, you can’t expect luxury. It’s fine if you just need somewhere to crash for the night and don’t plan to spend much time in the room.

   Room was terrible, it stunk of curry when we got there and wasn't ready at 3.30pm we had to wait outside. But on the flip side it is perfectly placed 30 seconds walk from kings cross train station. So I'd use again with friends but would never take my family

   This is a really grim hotel. The only good thing I can say about it is that the location is good, it's really close to Kings Cross station, but the hotel itself is dilapidated and depressing and not well cleaned or maintained. I would definitely avoid this if you can, it's a real false economy.

   Short notice £90 per night in Central London what do you expect? Clean comfy bed, hot shower & very friendly helpful staff. Fulfilled everything I needed for 3 nights. It's basic but that reflects in the price.

   I ended up stuck at King's Cross at 2 in the morning thanks to delayed flights and the train service ending. I literally had nowhere to go but managed to book a room at this hotel. No, it's not The Ritz, but it saved me from sleeping in the train station and only cost 60 quid (also had a pretty decent shower).
