Brought my children here, first time so my daughter could see the pharmacist about a rash, little bit of a wait time due to it being busy, but no other issues. Second time so my son could have his flu spray.

I wa referred to this pharmacy by 111 to contact them as they had done a referral for an emergency prescription for conyrolled medication (slow release painkillers) i tried to explain why i was ringing but was met with aggressive shouting and screaming over me then the phone was slammed down as i explained asda chemist refused my prescription so i rang 111 back who referred me to this pgarmacy and 111 told me to tell them if they refused to do a prescription, which they did! To tell them, that they the pharmacy have a duty of care to contact out of hours gp! The llady who i presumed to be quite young, gir on the phone screamed at me that if asda refused you why didnt you listen to them! Why would you then ring us why didnt you listen! Why did you think we would give you drugs if they didnt! And just kept going in and on with herself, I tried to explain 111 had referred me to them, she carried on screaming over me and then slammed the phone down on me! I rang back to speak to the pharmacist who said oh yeah your the one who the ohone cut off on?; no it eas slammed down i ecplained and again i was shouted at, talked over by a very aggresdive female pharmacist!, As if i was some sort if drug addict, trying to scam them! they did not lusten to me at all, didnt ask what medication i needed just got very rude and verbally agreesive! Until i was in tears and had to put the phone down. I have never ever been spiken to in this way ever! I will never use this pharmacist again and will advise anyone i know, not to use them. They are in need of customer service/people skills/communication skills courses or a new carreer! I get maybe 111 and the pharmacy have different opinions on how things work but that has nothing to do with me! I was merely doing as i was advised! To then be spoken to the way i wa and brought to tears its disgusting behaviour! They should not be working with vulnerable/poorly people if this is how they are willing to treat them! and left without medication as far as they were concerned! 111 have put in a complaint and i will be doing an official complaint also as nobody should be disrespected in this way! If i could have given them 0 tatings i would have!

This is the 2nd time they have "lost" my prescrption, the first time it wasnt urgent, this prescription contained insulin i needed, they lost it in the delivery box, however i ordered another item after and that was delivered. this is why i am putting this here, as well they did sort it out eventually but it took 111, then calling then getting my mum to go up for the 2nd time, first time they claimed they didnt have it, two stars for the receptionist who tried, but really a one star as you cant give a zero star from a life saving medication insulin

Super helpful staff (Steve & David) both in Eccleston pharmacy & in St Helens pharmacy, got our vaccinations ordered/in stock in less than a week when others couldn’t fit us in for weeks , highly professional and very friendly

If this chemist could be given no stars, it would be. My mother is disabled and was treated over the telephone by a member of staff, who was actually the Pharmacist - Charlotte, appallingly. Her medication was ordered and sent by her GP, medication that she’s been on for over 16 years for severe pain due to an accident. Charlotte tried to tell my mother that her GP should not be prescribing this medication and although her prescription was ready for collection, REFUSED to let her collect and told her to speak with her doctor on Monday (this happened on a Saturday morning). I have advised my mother to speak to the GPhC and raise an official complaint.

Had to leave this pharmacy for my managed repeats as there was always a problem. Long waiting times to process it and missing items from my prescription. Uncomfortable atmosphere, huge queues. Terrible pharmacy.. avoid...

It’s just unreal how poor the service is. My wife just called to see if her prescription has arrived and was put on hold - after 9 mins still nothing so hung up and called back. The same women denied any knowledge of the call and said ‘oh I don’t know’ but when asked again she said it’s in but not available till after 5pm (current time 3.22). So basically upto 3 hours to prepare a prescription. Nothing surprises me anymore with the lazy, rude and incompetent service of anyone we encounter at the chemist.

Do not touch this chemist. For the 2nd month in a row, I am left without monthly medication to take. I have severe arthritis which I’m prescribed very strong pain relief. I’m sat here in immense pain due to having no medication to take. I’m also Type 2 Diabetic, which is controlled by medication. I am unable to eat as I need to take medication as well. I’ve been told it will be lunch time at the earliest before they can be delivered. This is abuse, leaving vulnerable people without medication they need to function.. They have definitely taken in more customers than they can handle. It appears they put profit above patient welfare. I certainly won’t be staying with them any longer

Very rude young man at the counter. Asking to collect a prescription that they received hours before was too much trouble as he said as the store was closing in "10 mins" whilst he is stood with his bag over his shoulder behind the counter waiting to leave. I re-entered the store 30 seconds later and explained they are needed. Less than a minute later done by the pharmacist. The young man didn't acknowledge me at all and made me feel uncomfortable whilst I waited as if i should have not entered the pharmacy and he turned the lights off as soon as I reached the door to leave the shop even still before official closing time. Will be raising a complaint as not the first time I have received a poor service.

Such a shame, I hate giving low reviews but this pharmacy I hope will use the feedback to improve. Always a 10 deep queue, staff can't locate prescription quickly ever. If they was more organised then they would have them ready an a quick collection ( I actually called 4 days before an still had a wait). They hardly answer the phone too. The gentleman pharmacist was great it sorted it out for me in the end an was trying his best. Even then you need to order item (which I rang to ask them too) 4 days later it's still not there or ready. I was told to wait outside with my dog who was probably just as fed up waiting over 20 mins to even locate the actual prescription. The pharmacy is very unclean too, the floors are cover with dirt, bits of rubbish, paper specially at the till desk. Not many of the staff smile or seem happy, an there does always seem to be alot of staff. Maybe if someone walked the queue to see if anyone is just a quick collection. An leave another member of staff to do the on the spot prescriptions or counter servie. I've sadly moved my prescription & childrens to another chemist.
