   This is not a hotel; it is a Victorian house converted into 12 rooms. The rooms are very small and, considering the price paid, poorly maintained. There is no reception desk and no staff on site at any time, so in case of an emergency there is no one you can speak to in person. There is also no housekeeping service-- you have to use the same towels for the entire week. In the shared kitchen there are no proper utensils, and the only ones available were dirty. This is not a hotel. It is true that the staff responds quickly via mobile messages, but obviously this is not the same as having staff available on site.

   Great location. It’s not a hotel. Real discrepancy in the room sizes in relation to price. Seems like they’re cheating a lot of people. Please note that this is not a hotel and there’s no staff onsite! Room 5 has bugs and mosquitoes . Lots of mould around the room and bathroom! Overall - mediocre!

   This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The first room I was given (room number 0) was completely unsuitable: it is in the basement, no window, broken air-conditioning, no fresh air/ventilation, 27°C inside, and mould on the shower wall. After sending repeated messages, it took over six and a half hours before I finally received the code to move to another room, meaning I lost almost my entire first day in London stuck in a hot, unhealthy room. The property is run remotely with no staff on site, so every issue involves endless back-and-forth messaging instead of being able to speak to someone directly. The stove in the kitchen doesn’t work, even though it is advertised as available. On top of all this, the hotel could not even provide me with a room with a window for the full stay, even though that is what I booked on Booking.com. As a result, I was forced to book a different hotel for the final nights, disrupting my plans and adding more expense. Overall, this hotel is misleading, unprofessional, and does not deliver on what is advertised. I cannot recommend it to anyone.

   Rooms are quite small but okay if only staying 1-2 nights. When the time was near we’re were worried as we thought the place was a hotel but we had been given codes to access from the outside and into our room. Disclaimer, this is not a hotel!!! The location is a bit out of the way from local transport and a walk from the nearest town. During our stay we saw not one member of staff even monitoring the place, the guests were very loud and not mindful of others. There should be a member of staff in the building keeping an eye on everyone and asking people to be quiet after a certain time. The room itself wasn’t the best either. We stayed in room 1 basement, there is marks on the walls and not much airflow so it felt quite muggy, the bathrooms are tiny and we discovered hair all over our bottom sheet and duvet? The place is a non-pet hotel but the hair looks suspiciously like dog hair. The floor clearly wasn’t hoovered well either as I kept picking things up on my feet. Don’t really recommend staying here.

   Stayed at this cute Victorian house turned into a 12 room hotel. Room was in budget I was willing to pay. Room was clean and so was rest of hotel. Easy check-in and check-out. Was close to Emirates Stadium so I could walk to match, also in walking distance to Camden Market. Had a change in my arrival flight and had to change my check-in day, and within a few emails with admin was taken care of. Within walking distance of a couple of tube stations. Short walk to Archway and Holloway road with grocery markets, shopping, and restaurants and pubs. I would book this place again.

The Anson Hotel offers a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay, including fast Wi-Fi, and a clean, fully-equipped shared kitchen for guests to use. While the hotel does not have a fitness centre, pool, or spa, its excellent location allows for easy access to nearby facilities catering to these needs.
