   We went to Prime for our son’s birthday whilst visiting Norwich from London, last week. We were totally blown away. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, the serving staff were fantastic (a big shout out to Evan and Eva!). They couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! The food was perfection too. Fresh local ingredients cooked and served so well. Absolutely worth every penny. We will be back when we’re next in Norwich!!

   An incredible dining experience from start to finish. The cocktails were a delight, :Sweet to the Core’ with cider, cinnamon, and apple juice was delicious and highly recommended. The fillet steak served on the volcanic rock was a beautiful cut of meat, made even better by being able to finish each slice exactly to my liking. Dessert was s’mores, indulgent and absolutely delicious, if I’d had the room, I would have happily eaten it all again! The staff were attentive and the service was fast, adding to the overall enjoyment. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a lovely contemporary feel that makes the atmosphere special. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the quality, experience, and attention to detail make it worth every penny.

   We recently visited Prime in Norwich for dinner, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an immersive dining adventure, where the star of the show is the cooking process itself. We ordered the flank steak and the fillet steak, both of which arrived beautifully prepared for self-cooking at our table. The experience of sizzling our steaks to perfection on hot stones added an interactive and exciting element to the meal, allowing us to cook them exactly to our preference. The quality of the meat was outstanding—tender, full of flavour, and absolutely delicious. Beyond the incredible food, what truly set Prime apart was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best experience possible. They guided us through the cooking process, offered recommendations, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. The ambience of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for both a special occasion and a casual night out. If you’re a steak lover or simply looking for a unique and memorable dining experience in Norwich, Prime is an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be returning!

   Food is brilliant, but expensive. Would go here only for special occasions. Service was good and the decorations were very well designed. The down point is the smoke that comes off of the food as the extraction system is not the best. The smoke builds up and creates quite a claustrophobic feel.

   Prime by name and prime by nature! We had been to the original Prime and it was good but this is another level. Sophisticated dining in a sophisticated atmosphere. Stephan was superb, his knowledge was exemplary, willing to offer suggestions if asked. He was attentive without intruding. I mentioned in passing my partners birthday and they took notice, very good. My only complaint, and it is silly, was that they took time to make the cutlery line up and the tables look great but didnt line up the tables. All in all a fantastic evening.

   Popped in on a whim late Sunday afternoon. Really glad we did and we'll definitely be returning next time we're in Norwich. Service was excellent and very friendly. The ribeye was one of the best I've ever had, apparently it's locally sourced too. To start I had the lobster roll which was really filling. One of our party is gluten intolerant but despite the menu not having dishes explicitly gluten free they did accommodate her well.
