I think we should start giving the staff here a little more credit! I deal with these wonderful people weekly, and they always go out of the way to help. But when I used to go in and get angry at stuff for not being there, it was not on. After years of seeing them weekly, I've realised it's not as easy as just getting the prescription and it's there. The staff have to clarify it, then collect the items, then the pharmacist has to check them individually and then the other staff do the rest. But they have one pharmacist, and the amount of people who are there for prescriptions that one pharmacist has to check them all herself. Plus it's not down to just themselves many times items arnt in which they can't control or if they can they will advise you to other places, that might have them. As stated for years I've worked with these wonderful people and they always go far beyond to help. But I reiterate not everything is down to the staff, it's a wider and national issue on supply. But also it comes down to respect of the staff and not getting annoyed when something isn't ready or available.

Last week it took 4 days before my prescription was ready. My near 80 year old husband had to walk there 3 times (and 2 phone calls) before I eventually got it. This week he put in his own prescription in on Monday morning, it is now Thursday afternoon and he has just walked home with no prescription ready. What is going on here in Boots Moreton? Thinking of changing to Chadwick Street chemist. Are they any better? Certainly could not be any worse.

I usually use this pharmacy for collecting my medicines. Staff is good. They informed through sms when the prescription is ready for collection, which is a quite convenient. You can park the car at Home Bargains which is quite close.

Worst chemist in the area, sick to death of being told the script isn’t ready even though it’s was sent over by my doctors days ago. Or ‘there’s no stock’, or if there is stock it’s always conveniently ‘just been delivered’ but you still can’t have your script there and then as it’s not been unpacked. Even then It takes a week sometimes to actually get your medication. Mine is a common tablet that I’ve been taking for 17 years and every single chemist I’ve been into has it there and then and it’s ready in 5 mins, no problems. Time to go back to them now even if they’re further away from my home address.

Worst pharmacy on the Wirral. Constantly claim they have only just received electronic prescription even if you turn up days after. Make you wait half an hour for prescriptions even if you come back the next day. They cut a strip off my tablets leaving me without my full prescription. They are useless. Go elsewhere. I have

Convenient and well run in my experience. Staff friendly and helpful. Can be a bit of a wait but that's the nature of the service, they want to get it right so it needs to be checked. No way around this in my opinion. Store is rather small though so stock is limited, hence the for stars.
