   We've been coming to turtle bay Sheffield regularly for many years. The quality of the food and service has always been consistent. Unfortunately, our latest experience was very disappointing... Turtle bay has followed suit of other big chains and is scaling back and compromising quality and standards. For example... - you used to get a cotton napkin, now paper - the homemade sodas would come in a 500ml bottle, now a small glass half of which was ice (photographed) - none of the mains come with sides, the waitress advised this was to allow for greater consumer choice but the cost of adding sides adds up and the portion sizes are small. - presentation... The food used to come on nice glazed plates which looked great, now it comes in basic boring white plates. This also impacts the presentation e.g sweetcorn fritters would come on a rectangle glazed plate and have coriander and pickled red onions and drizzled in sauce, now bunched on a basic white plate (photographed) - portion sizes - sweetcorn fritters, used to get 4, now you get three, coleslaw was small spoonful (photographed), a small tumbler half filled with fries (how cheap are fries... seriously?!) the ice cream has doubled in price from £1 a scoop to £2 a scoop and is served in a tiny silver cup (photographed). The desserts are £6 for a small slither of brownie with tiny blob of ice cream. Really doesn't represent value anymore. Also, the menu has changed to more typical European offerings of pizzas and burgers where you used to go to turtle bay for something a bit different. The only good thing is that the food does still taste great and the service was the same high standard (very friendly staff) but I feel that the presentation, the cut backs and the poor value negatively affects the overall experience and I shall no longer be visiting frequently as I did before and instead will try other food chains that have not compromised on the things that distinguish them from the rest.

   Attended Turtle bay yesterday. It was the first day of their new menu and we had the unlimited Bottomless Brunch for £36pp. Harry was our waiter and he did an amazing job. The food was incredible and the cocktails too. Although the selection of cocktails has been reduced there is still loads to pick from. Had a lovely time and when our time had finished we sat in the bar a took advantage of their 2 for £13 cocktails. ( has to be be 2 Of the same cocktail) I will definitely be back. I did prefer going in the week rather than a weekend the atmosphere is more relaxed.

   We decided to try out Turtle Bay for the first time today and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere immediately when you walk in is amazing. Loved the music and atmosphere. Jess was our server and she was great. She really made sure we had everything we needed. The food was tasty and everything was nice and fresh. Thanks for a great night!

   Elisa was our server. She was attentive and personable without being gushy. The restaurant/bar were spotless and plenty of lunchtime diners. We were a party of two and had a main and shared a dessert with a couple of mocktails each. Stunning food. Moist chicken and perfectly seasoned rice n peas! My husband had the hot chick burger and devoured it. We’ll definitely be back. 10/10 for Elisa.

   Great for a Valentines meal! My girlfriend and I have only ever been here for Valentines, this year and the last. Last year we did just the regular Valentines booking, this year we did the Bottomless Valentines booking. Each time the food, drinks and service has been impeccable. If you're on a regular booking I'd recommend taking advantage of the happy hours! This year we decided we didn't really want to be against the clock for ordering drinks so we did bottomless, it definitely seems cost effective when you see the cocktails are all pretty much £10 each! Before coming we thought we'd have to be fighting for a waiter/waitress to take our drinks order so we don't order lots of drinks but it really was the opposite. We were approached by our amazing waitresses at perfect timings asking if we'd like to get another drinks order in. They would come roughly just as you're starting a drink or when you're halfway through it so by the time your other drinks are made you'll have another at the ready. We tried many different cocktails, we had roughly 7 each, all were super nice, special mention goes to the Koko Kolada, their version of a piña colada, an unbeatable drink. A special mention to Bahama Mama, the banana flavour in that drink was awesome. The food was amazing also, salt fish fritters to start, really tasty and the pineapple salsa that was smothered on top went with them perfectly. As for mains we had Trini Curry Chicken and the Kingston Fried Chicken with Mac & Cheese, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish we both had poached pineapple which was a very nice, light and fruity way to finish the food for the evening. Special thanks to our waitresses that night who were lovely and really brought the whole experience up a notch. Maz, and a young lady with dark hair and a butterfly tattoo (we didn't get her name unfortunately but I hope she'll know we mean her!).

   Went somewhere different to eat out rather than the usual suspects !!! The Food was good and the atmosphere was great,the only complaint is that everything was spiced up including the Salad which was annoying as some people can't do spices,yes it adds flavour but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Would love to see the dishes with the option to have it plain or marinated

   The food was really nice and full of flavour as you would expect. The meals had a good spice and were well cooked. The meals were well presented when they were brought over. What let this down was the poor service, the staff were just standing around chatting to one another or on their mobile phones. The manager/supervisor seemed to be the only one working and rushing around.

   So glad to back at one of my favorite restaurants in Sheffield and to spend my happy time on their happy hour!! This place serves a great variety of cocktail in Sheffield and I think it's actually one of the best in town. In this happy hour deal, you'll get to choose any 4 house cocktails or mocktails and any 2 sides, which I got mac n cheese bites and ribs. TBH M&C is extremely delicious and unique. Ribs are EXTREMELY TENDER and will just MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!! Cocktails are, not to mention, perfect complement to British late evening vibes. Caribbean also? Yes, but I really felt like home sitting, drinking, enjoying the warmness despite cold English weather outside. Although it was late in the evening, I didn't miss the chance to order Turtle Bay's famous main dishes (which I totally recommend!!) Try their jerk half chicken that has been grilled to be the most tender & juicy ever. I think rice+pea goes really well as its side. I also got a second ribs dish because it's too good, and had chips as delicious side.

   We went to Turtle Bay to celebrate my sons birthday and I have to say the food was delicious. I ordered the jerk chicken wings for a starter and the curried goat for a main and could not fault either. Everyone said that their food was very nice. The only thing I could fault would be the speed of the service. I know its supposed to be the laid back Caribbean feel but it it did seem to take a little too long to get the table service. Having said that I would highly recommend Turtle Bay and will definitely be making a return visit.
