Avoid this agency at all costs. From day one, communication has been appalling – messages ignored, promises never followed up, and no sense of accountability from anyone. They failed to mention major building works right next door when I moved in and made no effort to inform or assist once the disruption began, which almost seriously harmed my dog. The property has been consistently mismanaged. I reported damp months ago, yet mould continues to grow on the walls because they showed no urgency in addressing it. When the roof began dripping, they delayed for so long it affected my neighbour’s property as well. To make matters worse, the boiler broke recently, leaving me without hot water, and they have still made little to no effort to fix it within 48 hours. On top of all that, the flat was infested with moths from day one, another issue they refused to resolve despite repeated reports. Truly negligent from start to finish. Do not use this agency, they are absolutely APPALING.
We let our house in Tooting with Urban Lettings for over 10years! Christian and the team were always fantastic in the support they gave. Great communication, all the tenants they found were brilliant and looked after the property! Would highly recommend them to anyone letting their property in the area.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Urban Lettings. Coincidentally, I have been a tenant as well as a Landlord with this company! Tenant in 2013, while searching for a property to buy nearby, and loved the way they handled the tenancy from the beginning to the disagreement I had with the Landlord (I did have to pay a bit, but it seemed fair). The whole transaction appeared logical and professional. So, three year later, I employed Urban Lettings as my Letting agency for the property I bought, when leaving the tenancy. They brought me tenants within a week of contract signing. It’s only later as a Landlord I realised that Christian and his team take a lot of efforts to look into the background of the tenants and have a fantastic screening strategy, and not to forget that they have a very competitive fees. So as a Landlord you have a bigger peace of mind. They handled the dispute with my first tenant very well. The second tenants took real care of property, and were absolutely fantastic, with no disputes and a 100% return of the deposit. Christian and his team is very polite and professional to talk to. He will advise and provide honest opinion. I just sold the property as the Mortgage was too high and seemed unfair to pass on such high cost to tenants, so that marks an end of my journey with Urban Lettings. They look out for the interest of both the Landlords as well as the Tenants. I wish them the best for future!
I’ve been a landlord for over 20 years and experienced a wide variety of agents and a fair amount of pain from agents too. It is very rare that I can be 100% positive about any of the agents, but Urban Lettings are one of the exceptions. They are very flexible, friendly and easy to deal with and I genuinely feel as though they are trying to provide a good value for money service and have my interests at heart. A very positive experience. They let my property nearly a year ago and have just dealt with a change of sharer. All very straightforward. I would have no hesitation to recommend. Urban Lettings are an excellent Lettings Agency. I have been with them for five years, and from a landlord’s perspective, I have been incredibly impressed with the organisation, communication and efficiency in dealing with not only ongoing maintenance but issues that may arise in an emergency. I am always able to contact someone, and my calls are always returned within a short space of time. Their fees are very competitive too. I highly recommend Christian and his team.
