While there are many rental companies in Canterbury offering off-campus accommodation for students, my personal experience with Streetwise was exceptional. I lived in a property managed by them for a year, and I was impressed by their highly professional and efficient service. Any household issues we encountered were addressed within 24 hours, no matter the problem. The house itself was well-equipped with student-friendly amenities, such as desks and waste bins in every room, ensuring a comfortable and practical living environment.
I lived there for 9 months and it was lovely. The landlord is very friendly and understanding. Every faulty household was repaired asap and they’re always there to listen. After my 6 months tenancy, I renewed to 1 year, but I had to break it due to some life circumstances. I explained to them and they understood perfectly and gave me a reasonable option to sort out the remaining of my tenancy and my deposit was refunded in full. Would highly recommend.
if i can give 0 star i will. very deceiving agents. student be careful ! settle an agreement with the landlord that there was no amount due, 3 months later in the new year send an email about the remaining balance. honestly stay at your university accommodation if you can and do not use this company. i gave the company notice, I was not able to continue with my studies due to unforeseen circumstances. yet they insisted I pay. they eventually found someone else to take the tenancy agreement. so how am i not being fair to the other tenants, when they found someone to replace the contract. this company does not care about the well-being of students it is just business to them
I was going to rent through this agency. Despite the very difficult contract, i chose to go through with it. I had to look for different gurantors to be accepted but none of them agreed because of the crazy amount they ask for and instead of refunding my holding fee tha did not exceed the 15 days as requiredby them. They chose to ignore me and refused refund.
