   If giving zero stars was an option, I would have done that. I’ve just completed a 1-year tenancy with this awful, awful agent and it was incredibly stressful due to a combination of her really poor communication skills and general lack of capability. She didn’t comply with multiple conditions of the tenancy agreement, such as setting up a direct debit (so the rent came at a different time every month which was really annoying) nor did she get references for the tenant (when I specifically asked). The draft tenancy agreement she sent me was full of spelling mistakes and garbled language that made no sense. She also didn’t know how to save it as a PDF, which I had to do for her. Yes, that’s right, I had to correct and save the contract for her because she wasn’t capable. She had no capability with managing the tenant at all, simply forwarding ridiculous messages from him without actually offering any mediation (because she doesn’t have the skills). The absolute worst thing she did was failing to inform me about a water issue. I discovered the issue myself a month later, in which time considerable damage could have been avoided if it had been attended to immediately. Unfortunately that wasn’t an option for me because she hadn’t bothered to tell me it happened. When I asked why she hadn’t told me, she never apologised or acknowledged that she had done anything wrong. It demonstrated quite an astonishing lack of self awareness and professionalism. I honestly think paying a sock puppet 10% a month would have been a better option than employing this agent.

   Amazing agent, she has looked after me for 16 + years. Every property I have rented has been fantastic. I would highly recommend Emy’s properties to anyone looking for a new place to rent in Greenwich/Lewisham area.
