Sunday carvery was delicious. Three lots of meat to choose from, big selection of veg, it was hot, tasty and excellent value for money. The staff were friendly, efficient and excellent, can’t praise them enough.
Cycled from Hull to Barnsley, stayed nearby, read the reviews and were not disappointed! Great service and excellent food! Bonus of live music from a guy covering Madness, Bad Manners and the Specials!!! Whats not to like! Top night in Barnsley and not a chop in sight!!!

Absolutely fantastic spot for Sunday lunch, the head chef Nicholas's service is second to none, he's a true professional at what he does. Great venue allround, clean toilets, competitively priced menu plus theres plenty of seating for families of all sizes. Be sure to pre-book to avoid disappointment as it gets quite busy on Sundays. The staff are extremely friendly/welcoming and are a real credit to the manager. Upon entry we were served promptly & professionaly. [The only issue we've had is the indoor temperature can peak a bit, it would benefit greatly with AirCon on a hot day]. However despite this, its still a cracking place, and one me and my family will continue to visit.
Food was very nice but we did experience a bit of a wait. Hoping it's a one off and we aren't put off visiting again but would have preferred faster service
Our waitress, Demmi, could literally do no more to help us. She was funny, helpful and very kind. The home made food was delicious. Definitely recommend The Full House. We had a dairy allergy in our party and the team went above and beyond to cater to this. Thankyou
One of the best pubs in Barnsley! All the staff and management are extremely friendly and always make us feel welcome, they are very dog friendly and the food is very good value and very good quality, the Sunday carvery in particular is gorgeou! Overall we couldn't give a higher review and are very lucky to have it on our doorstep
The food here is 100% absolutely lovely, every item is bang on, variety of brilliant choices to choose from, food is brought out in good time and always hot. The owners, staff and chef's are fantastic. The function room is good too for any occasion plus the buffet you get you can't go wrong. If you haven't been here yet you need to go!!! One of the loveliest places I have been to. Staff couldn't do enough to help us, we had they didn't have a table big enough but they made us one up so we could sit inside with the dogs. They even brought them treats out. Food was very nice, portions were excellent, and the price was very reasonable. The place felt very homely, welcoming and relaxed. if we lived closer we would absolutely visit regularly. Thank you for a lovely eveninh
