We have regularly visited this cinema and have always had a good experience. However, the last couple of films we have watched have all been ruined by the behaviour of other people. People scrolling on their phones, recording with flash, jumping up and down and climbing on seats. When we spoke to the staff about this after the film, they were very nice about it and quite helpful. However, they said that their policy for anti-social behaviour is for people to leave the screen, come and tell them, and then have them go in to tell them to stop. I’m not sure this system is working, surely it will be obvious who alerted the staff. I know that I would not feel comfortable following that procedure. I hope they amend this policy soon, as otherwise it’s a lovely venue with amazing staff.

Omniplex has consistently served as an excellent local cinema for Sutton, particularly since the upgrade to the Maxx theaters, which now feature recliner chairs and are very well-equipped. The staff members are consistently friendly and helpful. While the snacks and food items are a bit on the expensive side, they are not excessively so when compared to establishments like Odeon.

Great value, comfy seats and good seat options. It drops a star because it always seems so cold!

This is a lovely cinema, which is comfortable and always has all the latest film releases, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, Omniplex have introduced a new pricing system in that the sofas were always included in the price of the monthly Omniplex pass, which my niece pays for as a gift, but they’re now an added extra. In addition, you can’t book a single seat on a double sofa, however empty it is. If you want to go on your own, you can’t book a sofa unless there’s a single sofa available, which isn’t always the case in every screen. If you want a sofa for comfort and you’re on your own, you have to pay for the empty seat that you’re not using, as you can’t leave the other seat empty. Alternatively you have to purchase one of the less comfortable individual seats, which I find uncomfortable due to my back issues. And don’t try sneaking onto a sofa in the hope that they won’t check up on you, because a member of staff often comes in and randomly checks tickets. Having said all that, I do enjoy going and they’ve just introduced Costa hot drinks, which is great. You also get three hours free parking at the St Nicholas Centre car park next door when you get your car parking ticket validated on the way out of the cinema. So… it’s four stars from me.

The cinema itself is nice and cosy, with a good selection of snacks and reasonable prices- seats are comfortable with good sound. We just had a ticket issue and staff was very rude and dismissive. We ended up watching another movie as we had travelled a long distance to see something but will not visit again.

Have attended this cinema for many years...and most recently with my three young children. The Empire JNR shows are great for the youngsters, especially the double viewing shows (two roughly 30 min back to back films...) for those who struggle to sit and watch a full-length film. Reflected in the price, too... Β£2 a ticket for adults and children. These get booked up quickly, as you'd expect.

Nice refurbished cinema from the original UCI cinemas from three decades ago. There are now sofas and recliner seats in place, which is a nice touch. A downside, which makes them lose a star, is that the toilets are right by the front of the premises. So if you're in the screens themselves, say screen 5 or 6, you have to walk from one end to another to go to the loo. They should have placed another set of lavatories closer to the screens.

Great cinema! The seats are so comfortable and always clean. The sound and screen in my opinion is best. The price for tickets is quite high but worth the experience of watching a good movie. My disappointment is about popcorn, it always tastes like rancid oil. Also some staff don't make the difference between sweet or salted popcorn so I got salted but it was mixed and when it was salty it was far too much.

The staff are wonderful, place is clean, toilets are clean. Saw Avatar 2 which was fantastic, we sat in recliners which I highly recommend.

Went to this cinema twice in two days! It has a lovely atmospheric entrance and the staff is super friendly! I booked my tickets via the till and not at the concession stand and the machine worked just great. The theatres I was in to watch my two movies were both clean. The cheapest seats are not the newest, and the rows are quite tight in the cheap area. That, however, did not necessarily deter me from enjoying my movies!
