I went there for the first time as it looked cool and there was a showing around lunch time and I saw the menu mentioned pizza. My friend and I were really looking forward to enjoying a long film whilst having lunch. When we arrived, we were told that you cannot take hot food into the screens. We were hungry given that we planned to eat during the movie so difficult to enjoy the movie while being hungry. And popcorn is not going to do it when we thought we were having pizza. The website does not say anywhere that you cannot take hot food inside so that very unhelpful. Especially when other cinemas like Everyman or Odeon allow it. The seats themselves are old and uncomfortable. When I reached out to customer service, they said ‘sorry but the website doesn’t specify you can take hot food inside so there you go’ to summarise. Really unimpressed but at least I know not to go there now.

I love an independent cinema, however this fell short when I visited today! Ticket prices at £16.60 with small screens and bad sound system - there are much better quality cinemas at the same price! I was also disappointed at the lack of snacks to buy - only popcorn as an option

Fab event - Mrs Harris goes to Paris with q&a! Really lovely .. good questions and great panel which made the discussion entertaining too The staff were friendly and helpful, I arrived just as it was starting and so grateful that I was spotted by one of the staff who weren't serving rather clearing up but sent me in the right direction. Even though some bits of the cinema looked like they'd seen better days it was cosy. I'd also cleverly followed directions to the loos by screens 1&2 as the people in front had headed to the main ones and I think there must have been a queue as someone was heading back our way as I was leaving. I was disappointed to not get to investigate their refreshments as I was so late but sat next to a couple with glasses of wine .. May have added to the disappointment!

I visited Clapham Picturehouse for the first time to watch a film and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service at the kiosk was quick both times I went. Screen one upstairs was spacious, and the seats were comfortable and could recline.

I got a soft spot for the Picturehouse cinemas! Members get some extra perks and generally they are nice places. What makes this one special is that the bar /food space is off the main road. A good selection of drinks and a tasty pizza menu are on offer. If you got a glass or two of vino left, it’s ok to take it into a film! Now just pick a flick and have fun!!!!

What a superb place to relax and enjoy a coffee or a drink from the well appointed bar! Worth treating yourself to one of their pizzas too. Good to see an old school cinema thriving!

Worst cinema I’ve been to in London. After queuing for ages for the most overpriced and poor quality popcorn, have found the seats to be way too small with hardly any legroom and no cup holders. The screen is also tiny and feels like a home cinema / large TV at best. The sound is so bad you cannot hear anything at all. No air circulation either, gets way too hot and unpleasant after awhile. Don’t waste your time and money here.

Love it there, friendly staff, quick service with smiles. Love the chairs and the atmosphere there. I was watching Odile the pilot soon to be on Channel 4 and Sky directed by Elsie. Wow a must see series can't wait!! Some photos of the Director, casts, crews and guests.
