Chic bar / foyer to welcome you, comfy seating and nice red wine. Super helpful staff. Most importantly, Screen 3 was very clean, with excellent leg room and great viewing. A thoroughly grown up cinema experience.

Great theatre with helpful staff. Reasonable access for disability patrons. I was seated upstairs and the view was good. Comfortable seating in a large theatre. The only negative, is that I was only able to buy two seats when I booked. Attending as a sole patron, I found this inconvenient, and of course more expensive.

I came to meet with my friend there today. He was about to go to the theater for The Fiddler on the Roof musical, so, I caught him up for the interview there. The center is nice, it was not that crowded. There are a few isles for drinks and snacks. There were some seats to work on computers but there were no sockets to connect to. Outside of the building there is a lovely yard with some benches there. I really liked that yard where plenty of people were there.

Classic, intimate cinema screens at the Barbican which create a cosy viewing experience. Came here to see The Bikeriders and enjoyed the screening very much. Also, the first time I’ve been to the cinema in years without the inconsiderate distractions of constant chatter and glaring device screens, which was very welcome. There is a bar and a restaurant on-site too for food and beverage before or after your film. Good stuff!

I had a great afternoon watching a film at the Barbican Cinema. For me it was a great nostalgic experience and I truly enjoyed the coziness and layout of the cinema room. I like the fact that the chairs were very comfortable and the screen was easily and clearly visible. The surroundings are just as fascinating as the cinema room itself. Being located at the Barbican complex it is impossible not to be drawn to the great architectural features popping at every corner. It is such a contrast from the rest of the local architecture that the journey there is already a joyful experience. So every thing else needed to complement a trip to the cinema becomes another interesting outing experience simply because of the location.

I love this cinema - from the world class programming, to the cosy seating & decor, the cafe which serves vegetarian/vegan foods, Pay what you can films on Fridays to the iconic architecture

Lovely small cinema room. Comfortable seats. I think they are foam filled. Only down side for me is that, like most cinemas now a days, they let people continually wander into the cinema after the film starts. It was relentless for 15 minutes when I went.

Went to screen Two. Very comfortable and lots of legroom. Picture and sound quality excellent. Definitely visit more often.

Good selection of movies, has a mix of mainstream movies and hidden gems. The atmosphere is lovely too! They have family viewings for parents with young children - also lovely. Many other community projects too.

I love this cinema! Always a good selection of independent titles and newer high-profile ones, and £5 tickets if you're 25 or under are an amazing deal. They let you bring in your own snacks which is ace but there's a cafe and bar on site as well. The seats in all three rooms are super comortable, and the sound is always really good. It's just generally a pleasure to go see a film here!
