The people were polite and the popcorn was yummy.The movie was nice and I enjoyed it. Sadly when I watched the movie zootropolis there were two families arguing but it's not Ur fault because in the end one family got kicked out. Thanks for the experience
Awesome theatre with good sound system 4k try to get the middle row as the theater room is small if you take in front it will be difficult
I originally made a 2 star review as the experience was decent overall but I only briefly mentioned the mouse problem in my previous attempt at a review, and looking at other reviews for this place from MONTHS and even YEARS ago, its clear that this cinema is heavily neglected and hygiene is seemingly not a top priority?? and hasnt been for a VERY long time?? I've moved my review down to one star as quite frankly the mouse problem (and perhaps even rat problem) has been going on for far longer it should have and the place could and probably should be shut down for it. Genuinely if you want to go to a vue cinema in croydon, go to the one on the Purley Way, its a much better experience overall than this dump.
Bit scary tbh, not sure anyone checked our tickets which isn't reassuring in Croydon. Our seats annoyingly were covered in the previous occupants leavings which meant we sat in some other seats and hoped nobody else turned up. Would like to see some security in place as we also saw much of the back row was destroyed and can only imagine it was done using knives. The staff seemed pleasant and the foyer was clean and tidy so I think any short comings are due to its location and the community it serves.
Bit of a disappointment as we had to evacuate due to an idiot vaping in the toilets. However, Malcom and the other man behind the til (oriental but didn’t get his name) made the experience much better. Lovely, very friendly people who offered us compensation. Great staff
Vue you can do better. The facility is old, worn and abandoned. No staff was even bothered to usher people to safety when the fire alarms went off on 27th Oct 2022. We had to make our own decisions to exit to the streets. Dreadful to think how this could have easily turned into a disaster as there clearly there are no fire marshals trained for the facility.
I have been Today at Avatar here. Place is very quiet just few people on Screen 2 that I was at. That's not an issue as actually it helps focus on the movie and not crowded. I bought nachos which been delicious and hot dog which was overpriced for a quality. Service at the till very nice and friendly,good customer service. Cinema in general clean and tidy even the bathrooms. Minus on the not working escalators. It was hard for me to get on top as pregnant but deffo should be look at in general as priority
Saw The Banshees of Inisherin there yesterday at 12.40pm. The film started well after 1pm because of the usual bombastic adverts, trailers and a long and complex clip telling us to turn off our mobile phones. The escalators didn't work, and Screen 4 is three storeys up. The lift did work on the way down. The carpets were grubby, the toilets were clean. In screen 4 there was a humming sound throughout the film, from a fan somewhere that needed lubricating or filter that needed cleaning. There was also a patch of white light spilling into the bottom left corner of the screen from one of two bright and distractingly-placed emergency exit signs. Comfy seats, great steep rake, sharp image and superb sound. Inexpensive. Probably all feels better on a Saturday when busy.
