A wonderful independent cinema, located in the Croydon Clocktower complex. Whilst only small, it offers a good range of films and has a small bar attached to it.
This is such a lovely venue. It is a small independent cinema run by friendly volunteers. Bar and snacks available. Reasonably priced with neurodiverse, and hard of hearing screenings, also babes in arms special sessions.
Lovely cinema and staff, but too many attendees needed the loo during the performance (not the Cinema's fault) which disturbed the film 3-4 times. If you have a beer, sit near the exit please
It's nice that Croydon has this cinema. It's a real asset for a town centre that is being decimated at every turn. It's unique in that it's tucked away, even though it's in the very centre, just by the Town Hall. With just 65 seats, it's very independent-minded, with a screening more or less daily. The staff really want to assist. I shall definitely return.
Intimate art house cinema run by volunteers. All the films you'll never see at Vue. Also has Babes in Arms, Dementia, Relaxed screenings for the younger audience and Films on 35mm

Comfy seats ( but only 68 of them!) And a great programme of curated films. Run by volunteers, and signage could be better, but accessible.
I've just discovered this little gem - what a find!! I don't live in Croydon, but it's easy to get to; the seats were very comfortable and the staff were friendly. I love the fact that it features a good selection of independent films, which are usually only available to watch in Central London. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
The cinema itself was as good as always, with comfortable seats, a sensibly priced bar and generally well managed. Whilst not a criticism of the David Lean cinema per se, I have to say that the toilets available to patrons are probably the dirtiest and most poorly maintained in the Borough. Shameful.
Wonderful small cinema with comfy seats a great little selection of well priced food and drink to take in with you. Feels like a real community of people with an appreciation for film and using the screenings as a way to socialise and chat about the film afterwards. An absolute asset to Croydon.
