I went there as a lad with red hair who works in angling direct at Hindley was very ignorant to me. So I told him it was very unlikely that I would be going there again. I then went to the Warrington shop and the staff were very polite and helpful. Will be using them in future, even though it's a bit further from me.
Amazing - took my son in as he wanted to go fishing, neither he or I had a clue where to start - they set us up with the kit we needed and showed us how to set everything up ready to go. Drew us some diagrams and explained it all. Really friendly and helpful. So pleased we went in.
I went here tonight with my son who had a huge list of items that he had picked out for his birthday. I was completely clueless on all of the items but had pics of all of the things he had chosen. ‘Big Al’ was an absolute superstar and helped us out for over 30 minutes with a smile on his face! Thank you so much, we are so grateful to have had someone so knowledgeable helping!
Probably the best angling shop in the UK, one minor thing post is slow but its free over £12 .( I believe it is £20 now ) May not be their fault .(Glasgow angling is worth checking out too.) I wouldn't trust a lot of other online shops but I trust angling direct. Excellent customer service too. Well they put up with me, most people don't.

Friendly, Professional and Knowledgeable all the staff take the time to recommend rigs for venues and different type of fishing. Extremely helpful and when I had an issue with a product they resolved it straight away. I highly recommend the Warrington store. A great bunch
