Went to pick up a prescription for a friend who was leaving for holiday that night (at closing time admittedly) and the old lady there locked the door and completely blanked me. A sorry it's to late would have gone a long way lol

Amazing service! Popped in on the off chance they could help here, as did not want to queue up in A/E for a bug bite. Prescribed antibiotics. Very knowledgeable, informative, and quick to help. Thank you, you made my day!

Abysmal service today. Had to get an emergency prescription over the weekend, no other pharmacy locally could source it. So the staff here ordered it in for today. I rang to confirm it had arrived to be told (by the manager) that ordering stock on a Saturday was “impossible” and that it would be a further couple of days before it would arrive. I said I’d come in and take the prescription elsewhere as it was urgent. After hanging up he called back to say that it was actually there and would take an hour to label… I went into the store about 20 minutes after the phone call to hear the staff talking about me in the stockroom. I challenged that behaviour and questioned why I had been lied to about the impossibility of a Saturday order. The manager even brought out the guy I’d dealt with on Saturday so I could identify him. The guy had done everything he’d said he would do on Saturday. The manager did not apologise for his mistake and purely threatened to remove me from their system for raising my voice. This pharmacy has really gone downhill since Boots in their “wisdom” saw fit to let a number on long-standing and capable staff go. Some of the team now are both woefully overworked and unprepared for the needs of the business.

Shocking service earlier this week... 3 males working, one asked if I needed help & I asked to speak to a pharmacist. I was the only one in the shop at that time... I waited and i waited.. they were chatting amongst themselves and one was doing prescriptions and looked at me a few times but didn't come over. Another lady came in followed by quite a few people until there was 10 people in the shop and still nothing. Eventually the pharmacist looked at me and asked if I was being helped! Umm, no... Asked for some advice and was not given particularly good advice as I've had in there previously. Left with a bottle of cough medicine and that was it. Very unimpressed with the service... you are there for the local community... a better effort in customer service would be very much appreciated.

So slow........perfectly pleasant people but their backlog of prescriptions never seems to clear. Someone is clearly needed on the till so that the pharmacist and assistant can focus. But, why does it take 14+ days for a prescription to travel from the surgery over the road, be sorted by this pharmacy and then finally a text sent? It used to take 3-4 days. At least the pharmacists are lovely patient people.

One star is sadly as low as Google reviews can go. I won’t be using this pharmacy again if I can help it at all. Recent experiences include waiting for 2 weeks for a text to say my prescription is ready, only to be told by the pharmacist that I should just come in and chase it as they are likely to be “sitting on it” and would do it there and then if I came in; waiting in queues of 45 minutes; and now today, taking that earlier advice of the pharmacist, I went in - miraculously managed to find a quiet time with not a single other customer there when I arrived - and yet they refused to fulfil the prescription until Friday. Service is abysmal so I’ve now changed my preferred pharmacy to the far-better Day Lewis where at least I have the more modern option of collecting from secure dispensers without having to queue. Boots should be doing better than they are here in this inadequate provision.

Try calling them to see if your prescription is ready to save you an unnecessary journey...Good luck getting an answer. Now go over there to stand in a very slow queue and whilst waiting try calling them.. Surprise ! They don't answer. They say they are busy but they are not , they are just very very slow at processing prescriptions. Eventually when you get to the counter you are greeted by a very rude Asian man only to be told to come back the next day even though he's already had 36 hours to prepare your medication. Advise to pick up elsewhere of you can .

The single worst Pharmacy I've used in my entire life. 3 people behind the till and yet it took 25 minutes for them to serve 2 people. Useless staff that don't care about you or your time. In future I'll be going further out to a different branch because even with the added round trip it'll be faster and less frustrating than this.

I reckon most if not all of these one star reviews are made up! I've been using this small branch of Boots for about four years and never had a problem. There's free parking outside which saves the hassle of going into Horsham itself if all you want is medicine. The staff are knowledgeable and pleasant and I have never seen them shout at anyone. If anyone is obnoxious and rude, it's more than likely to be the pampered and up themselves middle class pensioners who live in this rather nice part of Horsham and are the shop's main customers!

The service here is so poor I started using an alternative pharmacy a year ago and the difference is mindblowing. For seven years I have waited inordinate amounts of time for precsriptions even if they've had the order over a week. The pharmacists here use every excuse under the sun for their delays and to be honest, they are pretty rude and obnoxious if you ask why you have to always wait for so long. I would recommend steering well clear of this shop, it's a shambles.
