I've always received a fast and friendly service when collecting my prescriptions. Also, I will say that things improved a lot since Peak took over from Murrays a couple of years ago.

I visited the Pharmacist following my GP's advice to seek an opinion regarding a rash on my son. Unfortunately, the Pharmacist seemed dismissive of the request and gave the impression that it was beneath him to assess the issue. He barely examined the rash before directing me back to the GP without offering any real input. I was under the impression that NHS guidance encourages consulting your local Pharmacist before booking a GP appointment. This experience felt like a complete waste of time and left me very disappointed. I found the approach unprofessional and would not recommend this service to others.
They hardly ever have in stock my medication so I'm always waiting on them. They never answer their phone either, when inside you hear the phone ring and everyone just ignores it.
They’ve made medication errors (two were incorrect dose & one being extra), staff are generally rude, don’t answer the phone - judgemental. Some don’t even understand the basics of pharmacy dispensing. Case referred to GPC for Medication Errors & Mismanagement of the Controlled Drugs Book.
Quite a few times I've gone to collect a prescription after work. Online it says open till 7. I get there between 6/6.30 and every time it's closed! I have previously emailed asking them to change their opening hours online so this doesn't happen for other people. I was emailed back and told it was a one off due to short staff. If it truly was a one off it wouldn't keep happening ALL THE TIME!
