   I have seen this therapist on and off for a duration of 10 years. He is able to really dissect and understand your own internal reality, but he meets you where you are right now. He gives you coping mechanisms to deal with where you are currently and sees with great accuracy where you are now and what you are capable of. He will show you truth and where you are living in problematic behaviours, pin point then give you the tools to equip yourself. He meets you wherever you are at. Therapy is hard. It won’t be easy but it will be worth it. Steve is the best influence I’ve had in my life. I have had many therapist for cross comparative discernment. Steve is by far the best (& yes I’ve paid for “the best”). He is able to really get to grips with everything, I highly recommend this therapist! :)

   I'd advise to stay away from this gentleman, he has done more damage than good when dealing with family counselling putting words in the mouth of a young person with complex mental health issues. We are now unpicking the damage he's done!.....No mistaken identity at all.

The Health and Care Professions Council holds record of registered individuals. For people genuinely seeking therapy please read the parliamentary debate available on: Hansard 02.03.2020 See below notes from parliamentary debate record: 'The terms “counsellor” and “therapist” are not protected. All of us could call ourselves such. While the number of unregistered therapists is low, the expectation is that clients or patients working with unregistered counsellors and psychotherapists are more vulnerable to the possibility of harm. This is because they have no assurance of the level of training or competence of the practitioner nor a redress system to access should something go wrong. A register of qualified counsellors is held by the Health and Care Professions Council, and I would not wish there to be any confusion between these perfectly legitimate individuals and others who are not.' 'If they are not on the register, they are not qualified. If they are using one of the terms on the register to describe what they do, without qualification, they are breaking the law. Article 39(1) of the Health Professions Order 2001 makes it a criminal offence for a person, with intent to deceive—whether clearly or by implication—to say that they are on the register of the Health and Care Professions Council, or use a designated title to which they are not entitled, or say falsely that they have qualifications in a profession regulated by the HCPC.' ----------- Currently Statutory Regulation of Counselling and Psychotherapy, has no legally enforced regulation of counselling and psychotherapy in the UK. Joining a professional body and adhering to an ethical code is voluntary. In addition, the titles of ‘Counsellor’ and ‘Psychotherapist’ are not protected, therefore there is no legal minimum qualification needed to practice under those titles.
