Extremely Bad care from this place. Everything blamed on addiction where the reality of it was addiction through struggling for as long as I have. Doctor Sunitha Hanumanthappa was the one responsible. Then to top it all off Dannie Blowes, Social worker/ my Care coordinator discharged me for wanting to be dead. That’s not even the half of it. Bad team, bad staff and they’re always on leave. When you need something they don’t actually care. The only good person I Had was Zellany Neal (Zen) who was my DBT Therapist for a few months. She dedicates so much time to patients and I thank her for still caring to this day. If you go to north CMHT please ask for a transfer as most staff here are no good.

The Therapist phoned me late twice then cancelled an appointment and now they have sent a survey asking how he did. I’ve been left to sort my mental health issues out myself. These should be investigated and struck off I will be taking the matter further. Try to help yourself these people don’t care at all I feel sorry for anybody who has to rely on these so called therapists

Atrocious service, constant calls for an update with none, no calls back when promised and still have no idea what or who is going to help me!! Disgusting for a mental health team!!!

This place really should be shut down as they do not care about patients and it don’t matter even if you complain for not getting any level of care because it all gets brushed under the carpet! Despite contacting them chasing them they will not be in touch for months and months no matter how desperate you are they will not bother! City mental health is much much better they actually care and look after there patients unlike Somerset house!

Helped me completely change myself as a person and my life. All the wonderful NHS staff here who supported me with my mental health, i will always remember you all for life. You helped take me out of that really bad place at rock bottom and showed me that life was worth living again. It's been over a year since I was discharged and I've just gone from strength to strength. I've turned my life right around and will never forget how you helped me to do that. An absolutely unforgettable experience of life changing treatment and care! Thank you X

I am a service user, also an employee of a partner agency, commonly working with sonerset house. I have found the mental health services to be shocking, pertinent, those at Somerset house. I’m lucky that I haven’t lost full use of my faculties, however, I have yet to see day to day tasks such as appt letters being sent to the correct address despite notifying the service over a dozen times, poor record keeping, poor delivery of specialised interventions and a simply haphazard don’t care atttiude. I have been crying out for psychotherapy services as the initial practitioner owing to repeat poor session planning failed to get the intervention off the ground. 2 years and waiting, dozens of calls, complaint to manager, and now no longer bothered to ring them, because this is Bradford after all where all citizens are second class and those helping the most vulnerable simply don’t recognise that every action could be a potential life or death situation. On the other hand, can’t praise the FIRST RESPONSE SERVICE ENOUGH. Alert, vigilant, proactive and understanding of their role and signposting to other support services. How can the two be so disjointed ??
