Weve moved to Stourpot but still take our cats to this vet. They are all fabulous people. Highly recommend them

Took my budgie, Kiwi, for a beak trim and had a fantastic experience. The reception staff were brilliant, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The vet who saw Kiwi was very gentle and knowledgeable, which really put me at ease. My partner and I are very happy with the care Kiwi received.
Absolutely the best Vet you could ask for. Genuinely caring and put your pets first. Mrs Duncan and the whole team are wonderful. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Your pets will be in the safest hands.
Our elderly cat was a patient of AK Duncan for 18 months after we adopted her. She suffered from both thyroid issues and kidney failiure which meant she required regular vet visits and blood tests. Hannah was our primary vet and although our cat was an angry and difficult patient at times, she was always treated with gentle care and patience. Hannah did everything she could to provide options and care to prolong her life, comfortably and informed us of all options. Sadly we had to say goodbye to her a few weeks ago and again, although incredibly painful, Hannah went above and beyond to make it as comfortable and as dignified as possible. It was clear that she was invested in our family and our situation which was a huge comfort.
My two dogs are registered at AK Duncan vets. Best vets in the area, always looked after my dogs and make a fuss of them when they come in. My recent experience was due to one of my dogs being unwell. Reception were friendly and arranged the appointment as soon as they could. Mrs Duncan was excellent, went over my dog thoroughly and was happy doing the work.
I have used this vets for all my pets over the years , lovely staff. Vet Hannah is marvellous.
Such a friendly and caring vets the out of hours emergencies are so good too. Mrs Duncan is so attentive and the nurses and reception staff are always very helpful.
Totally trust monamsi and Mrs Duncan. They are generally caring vets. Listen to what you have to say. Never felt rushed when discussing my concerns. Front of house staff and nurses in back are so kind and caring. Most staff know my dog well now. Definitely would recommend A K Duncan.
Lovely vets practise, they are great with my dog, who is a big baby and gets very shaky and scared. When I had to say goodbye to my cat they were so lovely. They gave us time to say goodbye, were really respectful and even sent a condolence card. Update- we have now had a new rescue cat. Again, they are great with her. They gave her a thorough check when we first had her and send us monthly reminders for worming, fleas and annual for boosters.
