I spent a full day at Coda Falconry doing their βShadow a Falconerβ experience, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable and meaningful things Iβve done in a long time. They opened their doors completely β from the first moment I felt welcomed, included, and treated not like a visitor but like part of the team. I learned an incredible amount about the birds, their behaviour, training, and daily care. The team were generous with their knowledge and clearly passionate about what they do. Being able to handle the birds throughout the day was a privilege β these animals are stunning up close, and the experience feels deeply special rather than staged. If you care about wildlife, conservation, or simply want a genuine, hands-on day with people who truly love their work, I canβt recommend Coda Falconry enough.

My sister and I did the one day shadowing course and it was a terrific experience! We got to meet and safely handle a variety of birds, understand their personalities, and generally learn about the tradition of falconry. It was a full day and the team took care of us throughout. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Would certainly recommend!

We had such a fantastic experience! The day was beautiful, and our welcome was warm and polite. The safety briefing was thorough, making everyone feel comfortable and well-prepared. The location itself is stunning, and the birds were absolutely beautiful β my whole family loved every moment. I would highly recommend this experience to all animal lovers. Sarah and her team are so lovely, and their genuine love and care for the birds truly shines through. Although I was only spectating while my boys and husband took part, I now wish I had joined in too. Next time, I definitely will

Without any doubt I had a truly fantastic day at Coda Falconry. I booked a Photography Workshop ! Elliot and his team created a wonderful experience. Starting with a bit of theory for photographers, than applying manual settings on my system camera for different situations and backgrounds, we than took pictures on 3-4 beautiful birds while they have been sitting. We than went into a nearby little forest where Elliot and his team members coached me really well on how to take great photos in different sceneries and light settings, with birds flying to very specific points. So photos in motion, in flight, really GREAT experience. At the end of the session Elliot than downloaded the pictures on his computer, we went through them and started to edit them on screen, another GREAT experience. Elliot is highly competent, very inspiring, pragmatic and really 'hands-on', a great teacher and coach. Time was flying, and I could have stayed for more hours. I would definetly recommend this wonderful experience - SUPER WELL DONE to the entire Coda Falconry team in Hounslow.

We visited in 2023 - I found one of the videos on my phone, which prompted me to leave a review now. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I recall flying at least four different birds. Admittedly, I don't remember all the types of birds, but one was a falcon and another a small white/grey owl. The big owl pictured below was a bonus. We didn't fly it, but it was so cool to be up and close.

My friends and I visited Coda for a meet-and-show with Loki and his human buddy Elliot. Elliot told us about Loki's history, as well as ornithological info on ravens generally. Loki is absolutely mesmerizing and endearing, and seeing him hop onto my gloved hand for a treat, play about with toys, and croon out his various sounds were fascinating experiences. (Seeing the other beautiful, stunning raptor fowls on premise was lovely too.) Really so glad we came out for this experience!

After many years admiring the aesthetic and lore surrounding crows and ravens as a not so closeted goth, I recently became aware of London's biggest corvid celebrity Loki. Having watched a few interactions from videos online, I was even more excited to discover it was possible to meet him and the team who care for him and his avian family at Coda Falconry (within Hobbledown adventure park at Hounslow Heath). Elliot was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic from the moment he greeted us. It becomes quickly obvious from the stories he's kind enough to share that the experience of caring for the animals is something very special. In person, watching the connection and relationship with the birds is very literally the stuff of folklore and magic. Watching Elliot talk and interact with Loki in particular was educational, engaging and a genuinely uplifting experience. After observing the relationship and learning more about it's history, being able to interact with Loki in person felt like even more of a privilege. The team and community that Coda are building around the falconry is a true testament to what can be achieved working with animals and nature as custodians, and recognising what we have to learn from those relationships. Huge thanks to all involved for the continued hard work and a wonderful experience.

We went on a βMeet Loki the Ravenβ experience to meet the famous Glossy Boi himself, and the whole thing was great from start to finish. Luke was a really friendly and talkative host and Loki was in great form, happy to come to the glove and have an explore as well. Recommended!

Had an experience day and loved every minute. The girls who took our experience were so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had before we even asked them. Their passion for the birds transferred over to us guests. Brilliantly hands on and definitely recommend!
