Our daughter has been learning the bass and electric guitar with Mark for over a year and she loves it. Mark is a patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher and we highly recommend him to anyone wishing to learn the guitar.
Mark has been teaching my son Arthur for a year now, and he absolutely loves it. He is now 9 and is going through ADHD tests at the moment, Mark is amazing in how he keeps Arthur focused and this is really helping with all his issues. It’s great to see how much confidence he has now and how he has picked up each technique, this is all down to how Mark teaches his lessons. I’m so glad we chose Guitar School for Arthur.
Mark is a brilliant teacher and has ignited a passion for music in my daughter. He keeps lessons interesting and fun, always ensuring she is learning pieces of music that interest her. She was only going to learn for 3 months as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award but has been there over a year now!
Picking up the guitar again after a ten year break, i thought I would do things properly this time and get some lessons. Best decision I could have made! Mark is a great teacher who tailors his lessons to your ability and your goals. Mark is friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. The Guitar school itself is fantastic and provides a great learning environment.
I have been having ukulele lessons with Mark for several months now and have absolutely loved it. I have found a new passion in life and have fallen in love with the ukulele! Mark is patient (even with a lefty) and enthusiastic about his work and makes the lessons fun and easy to follow. I would highly recommend him!
Best thing ive done for my daughter 8 now 9years old. Mark is an amazing teacher. She started lessons in january through lockdown so skype lessons and what hes been able to teach her in that time and not face to face is amazing. You can hear her having a laugh and really enjoying the lessons,music and my daughter is loving it, so a massive thankyou to Mark actually been able to get her to stick to a hobby

Mark is an amazing teacher. He is incredibly patient, enthusiastic and friendly. My child started bass tuition a few months ago, and is loving her lessons. As well as learning the theory of scales and a range of different bass lines, Mark also picks really cool songs for my daughter to play, which makes her learning more interesting, enjoyable and relevant. Highly recommended. A really nice guy.
