The student union is just like a dead body. Does nothing. Cannot even advocate for student rights or development. The elective members are just having fun with their employment here in the union. Worst student union seen so far.
One hopeless and useless union. Not at all helpful in any kind of services.

Came here for an event, apparently if you go out for 5 mins they throw out the whole drink on the table. And when I asked them, they are like if you leave the table we will throw it.

Came here for an event and didn't have a good experience with the food. Ordered some food at the bar and forgot to ask for it to be made gluten-free (I'm gluten intolerant). Anyway, I was told to come pick it up from the bar in 15 minutes. I went back 5 minutes later to apologise and ask if my order could be changed to gluten-free. I was told they couldn't change the order to gluten-free because of the way the system works, and I'd have to reorder. Bizarre. I said "Ok... Can I get a refund for my previous order and reorder it?" They had to go get someone else to ask. That person told me I couldn't get a refund "because you should've told us at the start" and that I couldn't reorder either, as the kitchen was now closed. No apology. So I was forced instead to accept a polystyrene box of food I couldn't eat. Not only was this a waste of £5 but I was made quite upset by the staff's attitude towards me. My partner ended up eating it and said the "poutine" tasted like Bisto poured over limp fries, so I guess I didn't miss out on much.
Cheap food and drinks, great place to socialise with other students. There's also a Starbucks and plenty of places to just relax while on campus.
Beautiful place with a bar, conference centre and other rooms. Beautiful place to hang out and just have a good time close to the city centre.
