   Been here twice now; was a little disappointed on first visit, but gave them another chance. Just seems a little unprofessional. Food was reasonable on first visit, but had to ask for our coffees to be made again as they were nothing like lattes. Second attempt was only slightly better. Today, several specials were advertised, but no prices displayed. Soup was advertised at one price, but came up on the till at a different one (only 10p different, but how hard can it be?). I ordered a sandwich, which actually turned out to be a panini. That was OK for me, but may not suit everyone. It was also quite small for the price (£6) and didn't have much taste.

   Don’t order the vanilla slices, wrapped in cellophane, when you try opening the icing sticks to the paper, the pastry is rock hard even a knife and fork didn’t cut it, spent £13.20 on 2 teas and cake but not worth the money. Staff couldn’t care less when we complained about the food, looks like it may have been coming to the end of its shelf life, avoid this unless you have money to waste.

   Had lunch here today (25.8.23), the first time since the refurb, I have to say, it was absolutely amazing, lots more tables and more room to manoeuvre, better for wheelchairs. We settled for steak and onion pie with chips and peas, it was the nicest pie I have had for a long time and the chips nice and fresh, the only negative was that the coffee was too strong, but I just asked for hot water so all was good, I would definitely recommend Cafe Marsarella 100% and will definitely be back

   Had salted caramel milkshake, Mumbai chai latte, hot beef and onion on toasted barm with chips, and a cheese and ham toastie. The chai was from powder, and was very hot cinnamon sugar milk, took ages to cool enough to be drinkable and was just ok, the milkshake appeared to be a small tub of icecream with milk, was again very sugary, the other flavours were overpowered by the sweetness. The beef barm was really good, though the onions could have been browned, that was my personal taste, the beef was nice and tender, the chips were great. Toasty also good bread a bit disappointing but not bad. Service wise I had to repear my order a couple times, to be fair I rattled it off fairly fast, cashier may be new and they may have had trouble hearing me, food arrived fast and as ordered. Atmoshpere was a bit noisy and busy, but overall good. Mainly not getting 5 star due to pretty high cost for smallidh portions. The drinks let the place down a bit, we did not try the coffe so I can't comment on it.

   Was here with friend and was watching how hard staff work. Asked for 2 members of staff names and have to say Chris and Shaun were absolutely very very hardworking. They go beyond what you would expect. A credit to the company.

   I don't know what staff have been working in the cafe when some of your customers visited. But on both occasions I have been there with friends the staff have distinctly lacked any interpersonal skills let alone customer service skills. The food has been lovely, very tasty, well presented and at a very good price. But the staff on this occasion bit my head off for asking for a knife. Everyone in the queue was disgusted. Please get some pleasant staff in the cafe, the staff in the rest of the store are fantastic.

   We visited at 2pm and 2 members of staff both decided to take their lunch breaks at the same time. There were more tables with dirty pots on than clean ones and customers were having to clear tables before they could sit down.
