I like to support local shops, which is easier when pricing is so competitive to the larger stores. At least on the branded rabbit food I buy, cheaper at Pet Bay than the big store on the way to Barnsley centre.

Great selection of pet food and accessories at Pet Bay. I like to get my dogs treats from here. They sell good quality products and have a nice selection. The staff are friendly and helpful too and good that it is local.

Very friendly and great customer service. Measured and fitted our dog for a harness and gave advice about treats suitable for a sensitive stomach. Not expensive. Bright and modern looking store.
I don’t get the hype honestly. I have a dog and cats and the selection of products is pretty good - for the dog. In terms of cats there really isn’t all that much. The service isn’t up to much in my experience. I’ve only ever been in when the lady is there so I can’t comment on other staff but there was no help at all. My puppy is still very excitable and can get a little overwhelmed in places, so I try and go when it’s quiet. I looked for a collar but wasn’t sure on the size, when I asked the reply was “try some on”... not easy with an excitable puppy in the middle of crowded shelves. When I walked in she was helping someone so if you’re a regular I imagine you get much better service, however one needs incentive to become a regular. Disappointed to be truthful.
Extremely well stocked local pet store - there's not much that you can't get here! Very reasonably priced and you can get your goods delivered direct to your door if needs be. If you need any advice/help Bev and Jonathan are more than happy to help. You can now also get your dogs booked in for teeth cleaning sessions - had my 2 pooches done yesterday. The dogs love all the cuddles they get, and the odd treat too!! Definitely recommended and well worth a visit.
