Needed an appointment for asthma issues. The appointment person was incredibly rude and gave me one option. I had a list of what i needed from the consultant & team at the hospital but this baffled the doctor as he didn’t understand how the medication was prescribed. I was told it was imperative I had someone check my lungs ASAP. Doctor couldn’t do it as I was coughing every time I was breathing in but he said it didn’t matter as I was being treated regardless! Stella care from the surgery once more … not!
Waited for 45 mins after appointment time .explained what problem was doctor did not even examine my arm to see what problem was and why it was painful .was referred to hospital on 14th August they referred back to doctors saying go down different route .surgery never informed me .just left me in servere pain .so how been referred again by this doctor so let's see what happens and how long this takes .I have nerve damage they said .so my arm is numb from fingers to elbow . Although it still feels pins and needles . The care of patients is not good the surgery does not keep you updated on information you have to chase them for test results

Dr George Okotete is fantastic. I always feel listened too. Receptionist staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
My wife and I have been with Denaby Medical practise since 2004, which also gives us access to Conisbrough, Mexbrough and Askern medical practises. Owing to our ages of 70 and 71, we do use the services quite often, but hopefully not to the detriment of other customers. Throughout the years we have never not been able to get an appointment at short notice when it has been needed. We do tend to visit the surgery in person as they open and speak to the receptionist in person. Praise has to go to the receptionist (at all the practices), who have always been very professional, polite and chatty while dealing with our queries quickly, and we have been in a position where a lot of the time they have gone out of their way to offer non medical advise and help. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to name names to praise all the staff and nurses that have dealt with us over the years, (and this includes, tongue in cheek) Who I call our Blood nurse. All the staff are so efficient, which obviously comes from top management right down to the cleaners who also do a brilliant job. We have also been very lucky over the years with the doctors and Practice nurses that have seen us. BRILLIANT. BRILLIANT BRILLIANT. We do find it very frustrating when we hear in the news about people not being able to get appointments at their respective surgeries, and complain about the staff. Thankfully, that is not how we feel about our medical staff at all the above mentioned practises. A REAL HEART FELT THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.

Been on phone for an hour only to be told phone tomorrow or phone 111 so phoned them to be told phone your gp or go to chemist buy something over counter what do you buy for a chest and ear infection?? Absolute joke
I had been trying to get to see my doctor for 8 days. Eventually I got an appointment at Denaby. I must say that it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you everyone at the surgery.
