The dark haired receptionist is absolutely appalling, Ill mannered, rude. I've recently rescued a dog and her condition was bad so I took her to vets 4 pets Castleford, which they read her micro chip. I was then told that they couldn't treat her until it was changed into my name. I told the receptionist that all my other 4 dogs chip wasn't in my name so she said that they couldn't treat those either. The next day I received 4 different emails telling me to change my dogs chips. I've had my dogs for years and been to several vets in that time but I have never been treated like a bad owner, surely the dogs welfare comes before a chip? Im absolutely disgusted with this woman.

I was previously with a different vets for pets and moved to this one. The service here was shocking in comparison. I had to wait weeks and weeks for an appointment for it then to get cancelled a week before. I was also told there was no appointments till December and then they miraculously found me one in November. They also state that they are open till 7pm on their website but that isn’t the case, you can’t see a vet after 6pm which is useless for people who work full time. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I would like to share my recent experience at your clinic. Unfortunately, the staff members working today were not very pleasant or understanding. When I arrived with my cat after her second surgery, I was not accepted because I did not have a carrier, even though on several previous occasions the clinic kindly provided one. After returning a second time, we were finally admitted. Following my cat’s sterilization, she had to undergo another operation 10 days later. The exact reason for this was not clearly explained. I paid the full amount for both procedures, although it is possible that the complication was not our fault, as no infection was found. Pain medication was offered, but I declined since my cat did not show any sensitivity when the operated area was touched. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and politeness during my visit. Additionally, it gave me the impression that the clinic’s focus was more on offering as many paid services and procedures as possible, rather than ensuring clear communication and client care. I hope this feedback helps improve transparency, communication, and the overall quality of service in the future.

I have never been to a vet so often, and gotten so few answers. Happy to run several rounds of expensive tests, but never sure when it comes to the results. Why do all the tests then? Waste of time and money

Fairly new to the puppy world again, so I probably ask silly questions but I’m never made to feel stupid and I’m always given as much information as possible to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I’m still learning and very grateful the staff are always happy to assist. Dory appreciates the treats at reception also!

It was an absolutely horrific experience! Never again. The receptionist was extremely rude, short answers, unpleasant. Not something you would expect when you come to seek for help with a poorly animal. It was clear that the vet wanted to quickly get rid of you and instead of giving full explanation of the treatment they just say to read the leaflet. But nothing beats the receptionist who had no people skills whatsoever and was clearly in the wrong job!

The vet I saw was so caring and lovely. She explained everything to me really well and showed so much affection to my cat who was terrified. She even have him some treats to help bring him round. I’ve only just recently registered with this vets and I’m so glad I did.

My visit from start to finish with my very nervous hound was great. Nurses and vet went the extra mile to do all they could to calm George down by being friendly and understanding. Great staff...

I Brought my male cat in to be neutered and from start to finish, everything was perfect. Any questions I had were answered with ease, everyone I spoke to was warm and friendly. Advice I was given for aftercare was fantastic and my cat recovered quickly and was back to himself in no time. The card sent to my cat afterwards wishing him well after his surgery was such a great addition to a 5 star service!
