I originally had an appointment with National Windscreen scheduled for tomorrow, but I received a call yesterday saying I could come in a day earlier for the repair – fantastic! Today, the whole process went smoothly and only took just over an hour to complete. The staff were incredibly friendly, nothing like what some reviews had suggested. Required a windscreen chip repair. Got my vehicle booked in and got the screen replaced. Few days in, the rubber seal around the screen starts to come out and cause a horrible sound as I drove faster than 15mph. Took it back to them to have it sealed again. Same thing after a week or two. Again took it back, same thing after a few weeks. Took it back again and got it sealed. After a few weeks, guess what? Seal out again. I’ll try somewhere else.
Very professional. They advised me over the phone how long it would take to replace my windscreen. My appointment was 08:30 i was out the door at 11. Very clean very friendly team. Would use them again. Highley recommend them.
Booked in advance and turned up for our windscreen replacement… after arranging time off work. They have ordered the wrong glass despite doing number plate checks. The manager has said it’s the DVLA’s fault. The manager himself did not even apologize. Made me feel as though I was bothering him by complaining. Shambles of a company. The assistant manager at least tried to calm the situation and apologize. Definitely use Autoglass everyone! They get it right first time! @ National windscreens what a disappointment!
Insured with Tesco was quicker to visit to get my screen replaced then wait for a technician to come out to my home. Car was ready about 1hr 30mins later. Staff were friendly and informative, a customer toilet was available to use. Plenty of cafes nearby while you wait and you don't enter the green zone either! A pain free visit other than driving on the m6. Screen appears great 3 weeks later no issues.
