   Stood outside this store on Xmas eve, 10 mins past opening time of 9.30am, listening to the staff wailing with laughter inside. All for happy staff over the seasonal times, not so great as a customer desperate to pick their delivery up.

   I purchased a wedding band from the Solihull store on the 25th July, which became worn and discoloured unacceptably quickly - the picture is 1 week after purchase. I do not have a manual job, I work in an office. See the difference between mine and my wifes, which is actually softer at 18ct than mine at 9ct. I contacted them, and was finally passed to customer support over email, who have proceeded to tell me this is normal for rhodium plating and that if they are to consider a refund, I'd need to present a second opinion from the National Association of Jewellers, or contact Customer Arbitration to initiate a legal dispute. Thank you Goldsmiths for making my now-scruffy wedding band an indefinite reminder of a terrible customer experience.

   Fantastic store in the Touchwood centre. My wife and I came in to look at a couple of Hamilton watches, and we received first class service from Holly, who was friendly and attentive without being pushy. I ultimately decided to go with something else, but would not hesitate to recommend this store.

   Saif and Lak were wonderful. I recently purchased a Hamilton Khaki Field with the white dial. This watch has always alluded me because it seems to always be out of stock. This was not an issue for Saif, he got me the watch I wanted straight away. Lak was lovely on the day I returned to pick it up. Wonderful service, they both offered me refreshments and made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience.

   From start to finish, Guy at goldsmiths touchwood has been brilliant. From helping us choose our wedding rings to ordering them, he made it all very simple. We picked them up yesterday and are over the moon with them! One more month to go, we can’t wait to wear them!

   Came in to purchase a watch for myself. Was served by a lady called Mengyi who was extremely valuable in helping me pick out my Tissot Seastar. She was incredibly patient whilst I was making my mind up and came across as very enthusiastic and friendly. Even though I wasn't looking to spend thousands, she provided excellent service unlike other experiences I have had at places elsewhere. She even did me a really good deal on added cover for my watch.

   Really happy with the assistant and how she dealt with us. Hence the rating. In terms of the choice and knowledge of being able to provide clear answers that was lacking. If I'd like to know which particular rings come in which design, and what the weight would be and the price for my size, then I think they should be able to provide that information... Unfortunately, it was vague and hard to get clarity. Hopefully, next time...

   We went in so I could buy my wife a watch for Christmas. Joan was the lady who served us. She was professional, chatty, really cared that we had a good shopping experience, informed and extremely helpful in choosing the correct time piece. It was a shopping experience I have never come across before. There was no rushing to the next customer, Joan made us feel really special.
