   I absolutely loved Hazel’s pottery class! She’s an incredible teacher, patient, encouraging, and so knowledgeable about every step of the process. The atmosphere she creates is relaxed and inspiring. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a creative, grounding, and genuinely fun experience!

   We had a wonderful time at the pottery wheel taster class. Our instructor Avery was brilliant throughout. We were greeted with a warm welcome, the venue was easy to find and there was areas to leave your belongings safely. After everyone was sorted with a drink and apron we were shown pieces others had made to gain inspiration and Avery covered the process of how your piece would get to its final stage when it’s ready for collection. We then took turns on the wheel with a partner to start creating our pieces. We were guided through the process and equally left to have some fun on our own as Avery watched over us in case we needed help. I would definitely book this again and highly recommend for a birthday/hen do. Thank you again Avery!

   First time ever trying pottery, booked via ClassBento for my Mom’s 60th birthday as we both love the Great Pottery Throwdown. There were four of us in our class and we had an absolutely fantastic time! Abi our teacher was brilliant - really knowledgable, enthusiastic and very reassuring and patient with us when my pots went a little askew. The small group size in the class really gave her time to focus on each of us and help us develop our skills as we were all first-time potters. Thoroughly enjoyed the session and feel like I really learned a lot in a short time, I would absolutely love to try again at this studio and might even take up classes in the future! Felt like a really reasonable price for the experience as well. Would definitely recommend to couples or small family or friend groups.

   An intimate space filled with beautiful works. I took a taster session with Chris and had a wonderful time. Conversation and asking Chris for help was easy as he’s very patient - heeven let me attach a little clay piece to my cup when the session ended. A great way to tap into your inner child and play with some clay.

   I did an 8-week beginners course at Pavlov Ceramics Studio with Chris, and absolutely loved it. It was amazing value for money as the class sizes are small and Chris gives a lot of 1-to-1 help. Chris gives in depth information about the technical aspects of working with clay, as well as doing practical demonstrations. I went by myself, and it was a relaxed atmosphere and everyone was really friendly . I would recommend this course to anyone, from complete beginner to intermediate looking for time to practice.
