Even one star is too generous for this college, I left banovallum this year at 16 with grades of 7's and 8's and joined the accountcy t level, there was no teaching it only involved copying off the board and onto your own computers, the other students were horrible and when I was faced with difficulties within lesson with regards to these students the staff were insensitive and did not help, this lead me to swap to their business extended diploma level 3 which again was the same classroom setting and did not at all challenge my ability, to combat this I then inquired about transferring to Lincoln Christ Hospital School's sixth form which seemed absolutely lovely and was going to do three a levels; business, phycology and sociology but unfortunately last minute at the leading up to October half term the transport was no longer achievable so then messaged my at the time professor that I was unable to attend there and was going to have to stay at Boston College, keep in mind at this point I had not officially informed the college I was leaving but firstly they took it upon theirselves to breach student confidentiality and discuss my failed transfer with the class which then singled me out more than before, furthermore only when I returned after half term with no response to my message did they tell me that my place had been withdrawn, in response to this I arranged a meeting with their careers team to whom simply shook their heads and told me no they could not help me, they informed me that it was my fault and I was being too picky and took a very snidey tone with me as they could not be asked to help, in the end after further discussion I got them to email the a levels at Boston College to see if they would take me onto their English Literature, Phycology and sociology a level course which no one had thought to do before they simply told me no, furthermore when requesting my student ID back they were extremely blunt and rude, I left college that day with an email and contact the Education authority as my only hope which I am currently doing, if these fail my only option is to take a gap year learn to drive whilst gaining work experience and join the next academic year at another establishment, overall please do not send your child here no matter where their friends are going, it is such a terrible college and will not better your child's education I wish much better luck for everyone else. Thank you for reading.

Terrible college so un organised i ended up failing my maths exams because this college kept telling me the wrong dates for the first 5 months I was in this college I had medical reasons why I had below average attendance and provided proof of this but they decided to mark my absences as me just not being bothered to come which made me have to drop out as I couldnβt apply for any other courses if youβre thinking about going to Boston college to get qualifications donβt because thatβs not what your gonna get here

Some staff are nice but this college is very unorganized when it comes to exams and requirements and also with student help. They also dont give students the right and accurate information for the course and if they want to progress to a higher course next year. They also don't resolve any bullying problems properly and instead let them carry on all they do is tell people who is bullying to stop when that is not enough and just allows them to carry on anyways. They also don't explain instructions in the course properly leaving people confused.

Not the best college ! This college is terrible for taking on students on courses such as Electrical for example knowing they canβt deliver the level 3 course that follows on from the level 2 course. Therefore you spend nearly two years on a course while not knowing thereβs no level 3 course to get finished & qualified. Iβve spoken to 4-5 people who have taken on this course over the past 10 years and all said the same thing, some had to change full time employment to do days with the kids to get level 3 done while others who only could do evening course had to travel to Newark & Lincoln college. The electrical department staff were great tho especially Brian the manger who is now at Lincoln and Dave who is currently still at Boston, looking back if I had to start the courses again knowing what I know Iβd select Newark/Lincoln college over Boston as they have the staff & course access to deliver level 2, Level 3 & your 2391 testing & inspection. Itβs further to travel but you donβt get messed around at Newark/Lincoln.

Open Evening. Truly wowed!. Helpful and knowledgable staff and students. Amazingly large college, very up to date technology. Ample parking and easier to get to around.

Very pleasant place to study. The facilities are very good too. Our tutor is very patient with us as we are 'mature' students. Ample parking available.

Great teachers, very supportive and understanding. Most staff around the college are pleasant to deal with, however there is a woman at receiption that acts as gatekeeper and will refuse and say she can't do something in assertive tone despite the fact that when i go another time when any other member of staff is there, they magically were able to help.

Knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging staff from the year I spent there. Learned a lot from their teaching skills and has put me in good stead for university. Excellent patient tutors who are genuinely there to help and share their knowledge of the subject. The facilities are basic but functional without any pretence.
