   A lovely house in a fantastic location, we were no more than 15 mins walk from all the sights. The bed was super comfortable and all the amenities were there. We loved the pool table too!

   I would recommend staying at 109 Nunnery Lane, it's a comfortable house that's close to the railway station and York city centre. With plenty of books and board games to suit all ages, including a dining table that converts into a pool table, although my son did have to take a shot with fridge door open ha! ha! We were a party of 4 adults and a dog. The accommodation is close enough to walk from the railway station, but also near enough to walk into York City Centre. Nearby Bishopthorpe Road is a plethora of shops and eateries. We loved having breakfast in Robinson's and had an evening meal in the Thai Seasons restaurant. Both restaurants were busy with good food and also dog friendly. I would highly recommend 109 Nunnery Lane as a great place to stay. Thank you Alastair and Clare for all your care and attention throughout out stay.

   We had a lovely stay at nunnery lane. The accommodation was roomy and had everything we needed. It is also in a good location for sightseeing. The host was very accommodating with arrival and departure times which was helpful as we had two young children with us. It was in walking distance of the train station but we also discovered Uber taxis were very cheap and we used them a lot.

   We were in the UK for a couple weeks and this was everyone's favorite part of the whole trip! The way the houses are split up are perfect, giving enough privacy but also proximity to make it fun. Everywhere within the city is walkable and there are plenty of restaurants and things to do just around the corner. The houses were clean, comfortable, and quiet and we had an incredible time. Would definitely come back!

   I cannot fault this accommodation it was just perfect for my 70th birthday family celebration. The rooms were so lovely and clean and it felt like it was home from home. The family particularly enjoyed the pool table. The location was also perfect it was close to shops and places to eat and it was a 4 min walk along the castle wall into the centre of York. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. The hosts were very accommodating as well and nothing was too much trouble. Hopefully we will be going back there again in the near future.

   A great house in a brilliant location; two nights were not enough to explore all that there is in York. We especially loved the kitchen/ dining/ living area - it was stylish and well equipped. The bedrooms were great and the bathroom was squeaky clean and a really good size. Also, the house is easy to get to on foot from the station and two minutes from a brilliant bakery. We will be back!

   We enjoyed a short holiday at 109 Nunnery Lane between Christmas and New Year, our only complaint is that we wish we’d been able to stay longer. The house is perfectly located to be able to enjoy all that York has to offer on foot. Alistair is the perfect host and the house is clean, spacious and has everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing - we loved the pool table! Delighted to have found this property, we’ve told all our friends about it and we will definitely return.

   The owner Alistair was very helpful helping to recommend restaurants to use during the lockdown period and we had 2 fantastic meals as a result. Property was very easy to use and all instructions were present. Location was as good as you get without being inside the walls looking at York minster and a very easy 5 min walk into the centre. Property was well presented and clean kitted out to a great standard. We will definitely stay again.

   Myself and two friends had an absolutely lovely stay at Nunnery Lane. The property felt much bigger than it looks on the photos, beds were comfy, the living room/kitchen area was very homely and well stocked for cooking in. There was also a lot of tech around the house, keyless entry was particularly appreciated! Alistair popped by the afternoon we arrived and was lovely to speak to, he offered us some great local tips and advice. The location is great, about a 10 minute walk into the proper centre, with local shops/cafes closer too. Would definitely recommend and am quite desperate to come back to York, a great city!

   Great location for local amenities and York centre. Easy access to central York and a whole range of restaurants, shops, pubs and cafes. The house is well appointed, clean and has all the facilities that you would need. Our family of 4 adults had a comfortable stay over the Christmas holiday. The house comes well recommended for anyone wanting to visit York.
