It took half an hour of waiting in the queue to pick up my prescription today. They were clearly understaffed.
Slow pharmacy wait times when collecting prescriptions. Had one prescription not included and still checked off as collected in NHS app even though it was still in the cupboard when I came back for it. Luckily I had a nicer lady sort it for me on return. However this still could have caused an issue with me getting my medication on time.
Worst experience. Been in here 3 times and everytime theres no staff on tills. 2 ladys running around with headsets on dealing with something while the queue got bigger. I nearly left the basket and walked, that is the last time i go in that shop !!
I order my prescriptions a week in advance to give the pharmacy and myself time to pick up my prescriptions. I've been in today to pick them up and then been told I'd have to wait an hour. When asked why, their answer was simply "we're busy". Absolutely appalling. Shocking service and workers that look smug that you're waiting. How hard can it be to put 3 things in a little brown bag and put a sticker on it?
Worst pharmacy in the area. Slow to make up prescriptions, prescriptions never correct with things missing and don't answer the phone. Head office in Nottingham needs to get a grip.
Great products but starting to get expensive
Despite their being not a lot of staff working there, I wasn't waiting too long for my prescription or to get served.
Stood in a que for 40mins to be told they did not have the goods on my script could order it so I did went back 3 times to be told last visit they couldn't get the meds
I have been to this store many times and on every one of those visits I have been met by rude, pretentious and neglectful pharmacy staff. I have spinal and neurological damage and can't stand in one place for more than a couple of minutes before I begin to get tremors and week legs, yet every time I visit the pharmacy there are no seats provided for disabled customers such as myself and I am left standing and standing and being completely ignored by the staff. They avoid any eye contact and make it hard to get noticed. Today the same thing happened, only this time when I could not possibly stand any longer (after 15mins) I spoke up and said "excuse me." that's all I said, quite politely to who I now know is the store manager. Her response was incredibly Kurt and rude and she barked at me saying "can't you see we are busy!" My response was " well when I arrived there were only two people ahead of me" She did not respond and simply walked away from me! There were a total of three staff at the pharmacy and every one of them simply ignored me, including the manager! They are a disgrace and seriously need some training in how to actually greet and serve customers. At this point I decided to leave. As I left I counted the number of other customers who had arrived after me who were now in the queue and there were 12,all waiting while the pharmacists hid behind the counter, working it seemed as slowly as they could and chatting with each other. I will personally never use the pharmacy again, I'm done!!
It's a lovely big store with everything you need . The only sticking point is if you need the pharmacy section. It's only small and they are so busy you are always queueing. To be honest a store that size I think they would greatly Benefit by expanding their pharmacy and prescription section. They now cater for a lot of customers since Lloyd's closed ar crystal peaks and I've heard a lot of grumbling about how long people are waiting in there. This is just an observation boots sorry I love your store. Just giving a little input xxx
