   A sincere thank you to everyone at Carrick Vets for the kindness and compassion showed helping us with the stray cat we brought in. It was heartbreaking to learn that the poor lad couldn’t be saved after we worked so hard over the weekend, but we remain truly grateful for the care, advice and gentleness provided in his final moments.    As first time dog owners we’ve been so impressed with the care our dog receives. He’s two now and since he was a puppy he’s received exemplary care at Carrick, it’s always easy to get an appointment and the vets/nurses are always very thorough. The Healthy Pet Plan is good value for money and having discovered he’s a rather accident prone spaniel, it’s very reassuring to know e have such a good vets.

   First time I took my cat there I was told there was nothing for tick protection in cats...I had to tell the vet the prescription I wanted for ticks and flea protection. Thankfully I had some information from one of my friends who is a vet. A different time I was told the cat needed surgery due to a broken tooth that could cause an infection. I got an opinion from 2 different vets and they didn't see the risk of infection. A different time they didn't want to sell me a specific cat food because they needed to verify with the vet (it was just food, it wasn't any medicine)...I got it somewhere else... I am obviously with a different vet now.

   Absolutely lovely vets! We've been going here since COVID times and they've gone above and beyond to accommodate. Every time I take my dog Charlie for a visit, they treat him with so much love and compassion as if he is one of their own. He never enters or leaves the clinic with any anxiety and everything is always explained patiently and clearly.

   All they care about is money.only took my dog there because there was no other vet appointments.took him to have some ticks removed.they said there were no ticks.clearly there was cos i could see them no ticks removed and they wanted 58 quid.then they was eanting me to pay 175 for blood tests.they clearly not interested in animals. Staff was nice but the vets well say no more.

   Staff are always friendly and helpful. My cat, Champagne, had an operation, she was well cared for. The vet, Jessica, explained to us about the procedure. Later, when we collected Champagne it was explained to us how to care for the wound.

   We take Our little Chihuahua here and the service is second to none. Martini needed some of his teeth removing, he was quickly booked in to have the operation and I can't praise the staff enough for how kind and gentle they treated my little Prince. He's now a lot happier and we attend for regular checkups which are free with the insurance that the vets provide. Parking is provided and is free of charge, which is a bonus as the vets is located within a busy town centre where there is only paid for parking.
