   Very helpful and kind staff, made a real fuss over my dog which helped his anxiety in the vets. The vet really knew what she was talking about and helped keep my mind at ease. We were seen very quickly despite being out of hours as well. Consultation fee is high but costs of treatment are reasonable. Thank you for saving my dog and making the process as stress free as you could.

   I am very happy with my dogs treatment on boxing day. He needed antibiotics for a tooth abscess. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the cost of his treatment which was ridiculously high. I would have appreciated a breakdown of treatment costs for the consultation and antibiotics. I only assume it was so expensive due to the bank holiday.

   Out of hours visit needed, very helpful on the initial call. Explained costs involved. On arrival we were seen quickly, reception staff very good, the vet was friendly, compassionate and helpful. Explained what was wrong and provided treatment. Examined our pet throughly and answered all my questions and reassured. Would definately recommend.

   Open 6pm to 8am as emergency out of hours. Grateful to receive such quick service when we needed it for a cat with a glass cut. Was seen within 10 mins. Vet nurse dealt with him so they waived the vet consultancy fee which was good. If your vet is a partner practice all the notes etc get sent over which is great.

   We saw Lottie with our Lab who had a secondary pneumothorax. She was absolutely brilliant and can’t thank her enough for what she did. Buddy now had two sessions at his normal vet and still trying to get all air drained. Praying his lungs heal. Thanks to all there.

   Words can not describe how amazing Vets Now are. They really look after both you and your pet. I knew my dog was in good hands given the upsetting situation. They regularly kept in contact and supported us all professionally throughout . Just wanted to say a big thank in particular to Nicola who was very supportive during an upsetting time. We really appreciate it ! Highly recommended !

   Staff were friendly and general service good, but the vet failed to examine my dog's mouth/face at all after making it clear he had a fall and was showing an obvious impact mark on his lip. Suspect this was due to them wanting him muzzled during inspection. 2 weeks later and find he has broken teeth and one smashed that is being held together by the nerve.

   Our little dog Barney had an heart problem and was end of life on the 4th September he took very poorly and his medication was not working so we called Vets Now Chesterfield who got us in straight away. when we arrived they was very caring and compassionate with Barney and us and told us it was time for Barney to make his journey, I wanted my daughters there so she made Barney comfortable until they arrived. When we was altogether my husband, my daughters myself and Barney the time was right and he went to sleep peacefully with his family around him, there was no rush afterwards we had all the time with him afterwards we never felt rushed at all THANK YOU so mush for that. When Barney was collected by Chesterfield Pet Crematorium they also sent us a lovely cards and his paw prints one for each of us.

   My dog went in to vets now chesterfield on Wednesday evening for urgent medical care. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The vet ran some tests and said she needed to stay in overnight and possible surgery but that they'd call me if they needed to go ahead with the surgery. She was in a bad way when she went so I left happy with the level of care she was receiving and that my dog was in good hands. At 3am I received a phone call saying that he thinks she had pyometra, although couldn't be 100% but she would need the surgery tonight .he said she was however a lot better in herself following the other treatment she had. I asked if the surgery could wait so in I could take her to my usual vets and he said it could but there could be a chance her uterus would rupture in the meantime and it could be fatal. Because of his uncertainty on the diagnosis and the fact he said her other observations were fine I chose to wait and take her my usual vet. When I arrived at my usual vet he performed some tests and said that she had absolutely nothing wrong with her uterus and there was no evidence of pyometra. She was diagnosed with gastroenteritis, given medication and is now doing great 2 days later. Our vet said that doing the surgery would have caused further complications to the gastroenteritis that she had and would have made her condition worse. Whilst I'm still grateful for the care she initially received I can't believe I nearly allowed them to do a unnecessary ( and costly ) surgery. I believe the decision to do the surgery was completely money led and actually went against my dogs health. At the time of me taking my dog to the emergency vet I didn't even think to read reviews , but after reading them now there seem to be alot like this and it is sickening that a veterinary professional would see the price of the invoice over the health of an animal!!
