As I held my dying Chihauhau in my arms asking for help getting someone to euthanise him to take away his suffering . To be told two hours to get things ready is a joke . The whole experience was of a nightmare in proportion. All a money making business without compassion for our pets that we adore . The experience I had will haunt me forever .

Very friendly and caring staff. It was hard to diagnose what had caused the fit so when I went back to my vets the next day I asked to see the vet I usually see for a second opinion but the vet at vets now was good too

Had an amazing experience with this vets! My cat was transferred here for an overnight stay, when I arrived I was heartbroken as I had just been told by our regular vet that our cat could potentially pass away, vets now were so kind to me when I arrived and gave me tissues and even time alone to cuddle my pet. They decided to do surgery on my cat and were open and honest with me the whole time about costs and risks, they even helped me sort out my insurance on my phone as I was a wreck. Thankfully the surgery went okay and they managed to pull something out that was stuck in his belly. Even my regular vet didn’t do this, instead told me he possibly has a rare condition and could pass away, if it wasn’t for this vets I dread to think what would have happened next. I just want to thank the reception staff and vets, and anyone else who was involved as he is now recovering and doing much better and for your kindness, support and sympathy as it did not go unnoticed.

The vets were nice. The consultation fee of Β£300 is absolutely ludicrous, though. Especially for a 20 minute appointment. The facilities are quite run down, not the cleanest, and there’s a broken chair in the waiting room. It’s also quite unsettling to have a whole wall of messages saying RIP (pets name) in the waiting room when you’re coming in with a very ill pet. I can understand the thought behind it, but it’s not very pleasant to read when you’re worried about your pet

Vets now were great, from the very first online chat. Over several hours with pictures and video of how my dog was. We ended up having an emergency appointment at midnight as her symptoms were worsening. She had to stay over night for X-rays and treatment, we were updated every couple of hours on the dogs progress. I was very pleased with them.

They saved our rabbit Riley from a bout of gut stasis. The team were professional and took great care of our bonded pair of house bunnies over several nights while one of them was treated. It isn't cheap but they are quite knowledgeable about rabbits and took the time to carefully explain everything to us. Our bunnies are now back home safe and healthy thanks to them!

Phoned ahead and explained the situation, two members of staff came out to the car on arrival they helped carry Ozzy into the vets (large German shepherd - unable to walk) everything was done what needed to be, 13 years is a good age for a shepherd but forever wouldn't be long enough, everything was excellent and very much appreciated, kind polite and friendly, at such a heartbreaking time it was nice to be able to get the emergency appointment and also take that small piece of personal time too so things didn't feel rushed. Everything was taken care of. Can't fault the service. Advice about cremation was explained and at a time like this done with sensitivity, Ozzy is back home now where he belongs.

We recently had to have our cat put to sleep for health reasons and the lady vet was lovely. However in desperate times they know how to charge you to help your pet. It cost us Β£270 just to walk through the door and a further Β£95 to have him put to sleep. Knowing I couldn't leave him in the pain he was in we just had to pay it. I understand vets are expensive out of hours but I thought this was shocking; especially in times like these when families are struggling financially this was a bit hit and struggle.

The vets who treated my dog Ralph were excellent, Rebecca admitted and discharged him (over her 2 shifts) and the other vet I spoke to was also great. I was kept updated and they were happy to answer all my questions. Ralph was really unwell when I took him to the out of hours clinic and I cannot thank the staff enough for helping him and getting him home! The reception staff were great, I spoke to Jayne. I was really pleased he went here for overnight care as he was monitored all night as someone is there all night with them which made me feel much better about him being there!
