The pool was beautiful, not too deep and very comfortable for swimming. There was plenty of room in the water as it wasn’t crowded at all. The changing rooms were spacious with many cubicles, which made everything easy. We really enjoyed our time there and would love to return.
We didn't use it but it was very busy. Restaurant and toilets nearby.
Enjoyed a family trip here yesterday afternoon. The water was absolutely freezing which was unexpected. The changing rooms were in need of a good clean, pretty grim! My children loved the pool and the splash pad area. We would visit again.
Droitwich are lucky to have a beautiful lido in their town. I visited this morning and shared the pool with one other swimmer. I’m not sure the water temp was 22° as the sign stated? The pool, surrounding areas and changing rooms were spotlessly clean. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. I’d booked the 13:30 slot ( I was travelling North) but arrived earlier and was able to swim at the earlier time. The showers did take some time to run warm. A lovely cafe is next to the pool. After my swim I enjoyed a toasted sausage sandwich and coffee. Friendly staff here too! A fabulous asset for the town.
I was lucky to find this place! What is the most important thing for me, that I don’t need to buy a membership, I just can register for free and use this amazing outdoor pool. All my family were impressed with the pool. The only thing that was not on top, it’s changing rooms. The water is everywhere and floors are pleats dirty. But , on the hot days this pool is a must have!
I have had the good fortune to swim in this pool which is, I understand, using salt water from underground, and is one of the few pools in the country like this. Staff are really friendly and the facilities are very well run. An app which I downloaded allowed me to book and pay for my 1 hour swim in advance.
Great place, daughter loved it! Particularly impressed with staff. Getting people checked in early to avoid queues and life guards were constantly on the younger kids who were left unattended…. Which is a huge plus for any parent! Warm (ish) lovely clear water. Even the coffee was nice. I have no idea how I haven’t been before!
Very clean water, the system works better after the pandemic, you need to buy tickets online and you will be given 2 hours slot. There is no more long queuing which is a bonus. There is a lot to improve but yet I like the place as we don’t get much outdoor swimming pool open to the public in the area. Friendly staff….
Good outdoor lido, decent sized. Was a tad cold as the weather was cloudy, pool is supposedly heated to 23 degrees but I've swam in warmer seas! Son aged 11 loved it, they let you take in inflatables so we took our ball in which was fun. 2 hours is a good time too for the money you pay. I managed an hour and half before I got out as I was too cold but my son stayed in until the 2 hour klaxon sounded (so loud!) Would return but only if weather was hot and sunny!
