   I am raising a serious complaint regarding the conditions my dog was kept in while staying at this facility for two nights. Before being dropped off, my dog was in healthy condition, as shown in the pre-stay photo. Upon collection, he had a noticeable and concerning injury on his nose, visible in the attached images. Additionally, my dog appeared distressed and unwell, which is completely unacceptable. I provided the correct amount of food for the stay, yet the majority of it was returned untouched. This strongly suggests that he was either under-fed or not fed according to the instructions provided. I am also extremely concerned about the temperature and overall environment in which the animals are kept. Based on my dog’s condition on return, I have serious doubts about whether the facility maintains a safe, warm, and appropriate setting for the animals in their care.    Took my German Shepherd dog for a groom at jaycliffe . The groomer was fantastic with him and did a great job , very knowledgeable and definitely loves dogs . We will definitely be back again. 5 star service all day long. Thankyou ever so much from Henry and his dad

   Just picked Bella up from Jaycliffe Kennels & Cattery and we cannot thank all the staff enough for looking after her for the last 16 nights. Being only 20 weeks old when we dropped her off we were concerned about how she would be whilst we were away but the Jaycliffe team looked after her so well and updated us when I asked how she was during our holiday. They included Bella in a Facebook post with loads of photos of her having a great time which we were overjoyed to see. We will certainly be using Jaycliffe Kennels the next time we need to leave Bella knowing she will be looked after and cared for. The team care so much about their doggy guests and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jaycliffe Kennels to anyone based on my own experience. No experience of the Cattery side.    I have been through alot losing my husband last year so leaving them behind whilst we go on holiday is worrying but Jaycliffe leave me well assured my boys Dwayne & Dougie are fed, well looked after, cuddled & loved.    I was always skeptical of using kennels for my German Shepherd, because he's a big dog that not everyone can handle on the lead, and I was worried he wouldn't be looked after properly. I felt really guilty and anxious leaving him anywhere. A lot of people recommended Jaycliffe, so we went for a visit beforehand and they really put me at ease. I recommend them to anyone who asks, because we've never had a bad experience, they're really friendly and they're quick at responding when I ask for updates or photos. Most recently, I went into labour and it was a long one - five days, and we had no idea when we'd be out of hospital. I'd already spoken to Jaycliffe about probably needing them last minute for when I go into labour, and they were already prepared with Kenda's kennel before I even made the call. Knowing that my boy was being looked after gave me one less thing to worry about, and the team always make us feel welcome. Thanks again to the whole team from us and Kenda - you are brilliant and we really appreciate you.

   I highly recommend jaycliffe , the staff are brilliant keep in contact and post photos so you can see how your pet is doing , Bruce our boxer had his second visit this week and has come home again looking fantastic and well looked after . We use the pick up and drop off service too, Bruce isn't the best traveller but the guys that have picked Bruce up and fetched him home are amazing with him. I can't thank you all enough for how well you take care of him . I wouldn't use anyone else for Bruce

   Poor attitude when handed our dogs back when come to collect after grooming , complained they were a handful doing two as the individual said they was on there own. Don’t agree to take a booking if you can’t handle them by yourself . You made out as though this was our fault , but we wasn’t informed you would be on you’re own when grooming them. So don’t take you’re attitude out on a paying customer, you Didn’t even mention it would just be yourself grooming them when dropped off , if this was mentioned one could have been left at a time. Take it up with you’re booking staff next time if you can’t handle two dogs. Who agreed on the booking. Also botched there hair cuts so they uneven. Lost a customer and found better groomer that comes to you’re house and is better with you’re dogs . Highly disappointed by this due to all the good reviews this place as received I don’t see how. Lucky it’s a two and not a one. Just highly my disappointed by the attitude we received when we’re a paying customer end of the day.

   You get 1 star so I can leave a review!! You deserve Zero!! You FAILED to supervise our dogs feeding when this instruction was given both verbal and written!! You FAILED to immediately let us or a vet know when one of our dogs was obviously extremely poorly and needing medical help!!! You FAILED to tell us or the vet that she hadn’t been able to stand up at all since the previous day until we asked you as the vet needed more information. You couldn’t have prevented her from getting ill but you could have prevented her from unnecessary suffering by getting her medical help much much quicker!!! You haven’t even had the decency to phone and ask how she is!! We couldn’t see her suffer and under the vets advice she was put to sleep. RIP our precious Daisy

   Easy to deal with. Placed my 2 dogs in there care. It was their first time in a kennel. They came back in good health aside from a bit of a cough that cleared in a few days. We have a shih tzu and a bedlinton. They shared a kennel. They were not stressed by their first kennel of 10 days. And slipped back into family life with ease. I would have no hesitation in placing them there care in future.
