Tommy my 27 year old Shetland required dental work & Georgie collected him from my home and kept me constantly up dated with photos while under their care at the clinic and then delivered him home.    I have had Georgie for nearly 10 years and I would NOT have any other vet. Georgie has saved my boys and done work on my horses that other vets wouldn't even consider. Georgie always finds a solution to suit you and your horse physically and financially! Also unlike many other vets georgie takes the time to explain what it is she is doing or going to do. Gives advice exactly how you want it. Up front and honest not sugar coated ! I wouldn't trust any other vet to see to my horses as in my experience she's always been the best. I've had horses for 18 years and the 10 years I've had Georgie she has always excelled more than anyone !!

   Gem Equine has looked after our riding and driving ponies for about 5 years now. More recently one of our ponies presented on 3 legs early morning. Georgina was on our yard within the hour, x-ray on site, abcess diagnosed, drained and packed - pony stopped in the comfort of his own stable, no travelling to do which is a massive advantage. Given all the advice to us to care for the foot as never experienced one before. Emailed our farrier with the x-rays ready for shoes the following week. The service is excellent and flexible at all times - would not use anyone else.

   Highley recommend Gem Equine. I moved to Gem equine several years ago. Georgie and Nerissa have given us such an excellent service. Very professional, easy to talk to and fantastic value for money. Always available when ever you need them. Tonight Georgie stood out on our yard for an hour -3 degrees while my farrier shod my young horse. Since he had laminitis last year he has been sedated to shoe but the farrier was happy to try without but Georgie was still happy to come and wait just in case he needed some sedation. I don't know of many practices that would do that for you.

   Georgie has been looking after my elderly horse for the past 4 1/2 years. She is very professional, dedicated and reliable. From steroid injections in 2017 to the recent ulcer in his eye, my horse's treatment and follow up care has always been first class. There's also a great repeat prescription service! I can't thank Georgie and also Nerissa enough, and would recommend to anyone who needs an equine vet

   This little man wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for the help of GEM Equine! Georgie is excellent, straight talking, honest and realistic. Due to changes in location we have used several different practices for the ponies, some well known and some smaller ones, none of those can even compare or meet the excellent high standard that we receive from GEM. I would 100% always recommend GEM for any horse owners as I know that they will never want to use any other vet again. Excellent client care.
