    If you’re thinking of becoming a member here I would strongly advise against it. The facilities are basic and not well maintained. The biggest drawback is the pure filth of the place. The changing rooms have never seen a deep clean. I’d expect a deep clean at least once per week and period cleans throughout the day. £42 p/m and you can’t even use the shower. The place is a disgrace. They won’t employ a cleaner and expect the reception/spa/gym staff to do it. It’s clearly not being done and if it is it’s not even being surface cleaned. To put it bluntly the changing rooms are diabolically filthy and there’s no excuse. Happy enough to take the direct debit every month but won’t invest in a proper cleaner. Disgusting.

    I usually don’t write negative reviews unless it was an extremely bad experience. I booked a spa day with afternoon tea for me and my family. It was supposed to be relaxing, but ended being the most stressful experience. We received an email with the start and finish times of the spa, stating that it closes at 5pm. We were not told that actually the spa would close at 4. The facilities were extremely run down and extremely dirty ( jacuzzi was out of order, the steam room was just smelling like mould, the floor next to the pool had tape on it to hold it down, there was no shower gel nor shampoo at the mens and the pool was quite cold). We went for afternoon tea at 3pm and when we went back, we were rushed by the receptionist (Tamzim) who was very rude saying we need to evacuate as the spa already closed. I explained i needed a few minutes for a rinse and to dry my hair, to which she responded with a slammed door. To add on top of it, the mens lockers were being opened whilst we were still there. Luckily nothing was taken and they were probably just checking to see if something was left behind but you simply cannot do that whilst customers are still there. There were some really nice staff members there and that could have made me rethink writting this review, however, because of the unkind and stressful behaviour received from Tamzim, I will encourage everyone to avoid this spa at all cost.

    Joined as a member as the pool and gym looked great. Good price value for money. After I joined went into the changing room it was messy and dirty. The metal under the spinster was dirty . Did not look at the shower but assumed if the room is dirty so was the showers . CANCELLED and got my money back . Such a shame the staff were lovely as well. Lea Marston clean and update your changing room you would have perfect facilities x

    i was expecting better for the price i paid. came here for a spa day this included two treatments use of facilities and a 2 course lunch. the lunch was phenomenal. the treatments were 5/5 stars the staff were friendly too. the facilities were a bit meh. the pool was used by guests at the hotel and public such as children, which i didn’t mind but i was expecting separate facilities for hotel guests and public and one for the spa. the whirlpool button was broken and no one could figure out how to turn it on. the sauna was a nice temperature could’ve done with a bucket of water in there to splash over yourself though.

    We was very unhappy, to spend time in this Lea Marston Spa facility. In changing room was very cold, showers didn`t work properly. They was in automatically adjustable 25-30 second warm water. Both saunas was not warm at all. To be honest to come in Spa, spent quite a lot of money. And freeze completely. Definitely we not come again.

    Great cardio facilities, weights area could do with upgrading as well as some broken lockers and the odd wear and tear things around the place. I love the spar and the pool. The staff are friendly too. It’s only a 3 star because the place just needs bringing back update.

    Tired changing rooms and the pool has been turned down too low now. But it's clean and tidy and has all the equipment you need

    Requests for information (about a potential renewal of health club membership) to the leisure centre & also to the Senior Management at the hotel have been ignored. As a former health club member this poor level of customer service saddens me & would not encourage me to recommend your hotel to others which I have done in the past.

    We went here for a spa break. It was a good value for money., having the bed, breakfast and evening meal. Yet the keys for our rooms wee constantly not working. We were booked in for 2 nights in luxury twin, but given a luxury double bed- we were moved to a standard... It was very standard!! The best bit of our little holiday where the staff. They were all excellent, willing to go the extra mile, friendly and attentive. My mum and me had a 25 min facial - it was wonderful! The pool and area were good. Food was good. Wine wasn't so good! In all it was fair to good.
