I met the owners of this kennels through a mutual friend who volunteers there, they are doing a fantastic job looking after all the cats and dogs and chickens. I have just adopted my beautiful dog from them and I can tell they had a bond with him just in the short time of seeing them together. They are genuinely nice people, who are taking care of their animals as if they were their own. I wouldn't hesitate to leave my pet in their care and thank them greatly for helping my new dog through a difficult transition in his life. Keep up the good work ! Thankyou again, Louise L

We’ve had 9 dogs over the years and all have gone frequently to Sandy Lane Kennels. They have all loved it especially Darcy my bulldog. She claws at the reception door to get in. They are so well looked after by Jamie, Tom and their team. Can’t recommend them enough.

Wouldn't even give a star. My puppy stayed here for 3 weeks and when I picked him up on the 24th of August, I couldn't even recognise him. He stank of waste and urine, it was tedious. He also drank a bottle of water in the car when I picked hm up, which reminded me that he didn't have enough water in his bowl. Later on, I noticed that his fur was covered in matts from head to toe. These took several hours to detangle. The staff claimed that they had "brushed him" but evidently that was false information. In addition to this, he kept licking his paws, when I looked closer, the spaces between his paw pads were raging red. Not only have they upset me and my famliy but hurt my young dog. I wouldn't even reccomend to my worst enemy.

It was with great regret we had to take our troubled German shepherd there Ruby. after 6 troubled months and could no longer keep up with what she needed in life. Straight away she was made welcome and introduced to everyone and settled in almost at once. Which was very heartwarming as a family. A fantastic crew of very caring people and commited to all. On leaving we knew Ruby would be ok and hopefully find her way in life with the right surroundings and people. Thank you all at sandy lane kennels. For everything you did. All the best for now and the future. Both persons and our 4 legged friends.

Found Sandy Lane through an adoption charity. Jamie took fantastic care of our new rescue dog and was very accommodating in the adoption process. Will definitely be bringing our new friend back to visit.
