    I enquired about dog boarding and was asked about the breed of dog to find out they don't take cane corsos because apparently they are too big/strong. Which is a very strange thing to come out from a dog related business. If they say the cannot handle a big/strong dog, I am not sure the breed matters as any large breed can have those characteristics. So I personally wouldn't trust them with any large size dog.

    These guys took care of my rottweilers while we went away for a week, no complaints at all. Our dogs looked great when we collected them and seemed happy enough! Reasonable prices too and they check over your vet records etc before taking in your pets so obviously they care about your pets welfare. They even let you take your pets to their kennel and collect them which is great. I would definitely use again.

    My dog, Sandy, is kenneled with Ad Astra whenever I go away. The care that the animals receive is excellent and the kennels and cattery are kept totally clean and hygienic. I know this as I worked there for a time and wouldn't entrust Sandy to anyone else. The owner, Anna, is an animal lover as are the staff she employs. So, while she is obviously running a business, she genuinely cares for the animals in her care. The dogs enjoy 3 walks every day and everyone of them gets a bedtime treat. I would like to recommend Ad Astra to all dog and cat owners who are looking for somewhere for their pets to stay with people who will give them loving care, while they are on holiday or for whatever reason.
